Introduction:

For this tester's wanted opportunity, we introduce you to RUNNERGolf, a small and up-and-coming putter company from France. Founded in 2021 by Simon Linot, the process of getting their putters to market took a little time. However, the time and hard work paid off when they won the “Best in Show” innovation prize at the 2022 PGA GOLF SHOW.

About RUNNER Golf Putters:

Available in three different models (RUNNER ORIGINAL, BLADE, and MALLET), this series of putters is packed with technology and RUNNER’s signature moving weights system at the back of each putter. All of the RUNNER golf putters are built in Normandy, France.

They consist of a multi-material design with precision-milled 6061 aluminum, complete with various weight options and setups to help golfers make more putts. RUNNER Golf also has a comprehensive self-fitting guide on their website, which will help you choose which one of their putters is best for you.

This AI configuration guide will consist of a handful of questions and only takes a few minutes to complete. The questions are thorough and cover everything from putter preferences to putting grip. At the end, it will give the best recommendation for putter style, weight setting, and more!

Been using my Scotty for over 10 years, I would welcome the opportunity to try these putters. Design is really cool. Love seeing all these new custom golf club companies starting to come out with innovative products.

Very interesting designs which add another level of sophistication and ultimate control to the equipment we use. Would be great to test these and pass on to retailers I know. Very typical of the French to create an innovative product that is slightly different to everything that goes before it. Brilliant looking product. And, just across the English Channel from where they’re based!

Interesting looking putters. I vacillate between a SeeMore model T mallet and Ping Anser blade. Would love to put a Runner putter to the test.

I'm enjoying how technology is finally being added to the club we use the most.  I'm enough of a geek and experienced enough to offer a thorough analysis and comparison of the Runner to other offerings.  Sounds like a win/win for MGS and Runner.

I really hope I get picked. Putting is where I lose most of my strokes. My ancestry is all from Normandy, France. Maybe a putter from there can cure my putting stroke. LOL

Another good-looking putter to try out!  New golf season starting up in OK, so send one my way!  Either with my Saturday group, a fundraiser scramble or Veterans Golf Association tournament, I can definitely give this a good try.

Cheers all!!!  HAPPY π DAY!!!

The configuration tool seemed very similar to most other putter fitting questionnaires out there. I certainly don't see the "AI" in it. Gimmick maybe?

During my recent putter fitting, I was told to cut my current putter down from 35" to 33" so that my stroke would be less arc-y. I had a tendency to pull my putts left with the longer shaft. Turns out my arms are longer than "normal" and thus the shorter putter helped. Didn't feel like anything in the config tool accounted for that (arm length, or hand-to-ground length).

Anyway, it recommended me this after I selected "original" as the one that fit my eye the most:

Let's see if I get selected and can put this to the test without further changes!

Love the idea of adjustability and being able to tinker and dial into what exactly works for me.

Recently switched to a LAB Link.1 because I love the science involved in their process.  Would be interesting to have the LAB science compete with pure self customization options.
