Nateyeight
Is it possible to just switch the driver head on my shaft? For example, add an EPIC flash head on my GBB EPIC driver shaft? Or will the shaft work differently with the change, and I will need to go to another fitting and get a new shaft too? Has anyone else done this? Thank you MGS communityWill you get optimal performance? Maybe; only way to know is to try. Driver heads perform differently so the shaft may also work differently in another head. I don’t know about the various adapters from Callaway but if they are the same you should be able to swap shafts and see. russtopherb
I switched out heads on a TaylorMade driver, however the Callaway OptiFit is probably one of the easiest systems to swap heads on. Moving between the two heads you mentioned, I don't think you'd see a huge difference in how the shaft reacts with the head. Now, a shaft that was paired with an X2Hot being used for an EPIC Flash... that might be a bit of a different story. cnosil 1 Quote In my carry bag: ST-X 10.5* Kai'li Blue R Flex ST-Z 15* Kai/li Blue R Flex ST-Z 4h Linq Blue R Flex Launcher 5h Launcher CBX 6i-PW CBX 54* & 58* Huntington Beach #10 e12 Contact CURRENTLY TESTING - Mizuno Long Game
