Is an 8 iron a 7 iron?

Thanks for the 2021 Goll Ball Test...just one item: You tested the "irons" with an 8 Iron.  It might be more helpful if you also included the "degree" of the 8 iron so we of mere mortal stock (with a swing speed in the "mid" category) and do not carry an 8 iron 180 yards, have an idea if it is the equipment, the ball or ourselves.

If you read the article it tells you exactly what 8i was used. You can then use the Google machine to find the loft of the iron
