I have a hard time believing some middle man keeps selling stuff to Costco. Beyond bulk, Costco sells high end things at crazy prices. These companies can deny and say what they want, but it keeps happening. And it's only them. It's not XXIO or any mainline manufacturers, only these two. I’m not sure if this happened with Honma, but earlier this year Costco offered Bettenardi putters at a much lower price than other places. Turned out that the distributor Bettenardi contracted with in South Africa or somewhere sold the putters to Costco, apparently without Bettenardi’s permission.
