Paradym X Hybrid

Popping in here to briefly sing the praises of this club.   Mine is new to me, and I bought it on something of a whim after watching several YouTube reviews.  Having only played 27 holes with it and trying it on the range a few times, I nonetheless have to say I am very impressed.

I hit it three times yesterday during my practice round, and it found the green each time from 210 +/-.  (Playing a 4 hybrid at 19* thanks to a lefty adapter install.)  The first time I thought I had mishit it - nope, on the green.  The second was a straight shot pin high.  The third I was pleasantly surprised at its workability because a bad tee shot meant I had to draw it high around a tree and it curved nicely and found the right side of the green.

The ball flight is a thing of beauty, with a gradual ascent and steep, green-holding descent.

It seems perfect for my low/mid-handicapper game.  I offer this  in case it may help others.  Also, I'm curious if more spies are experiencing the same.

Working at getting better ... and very slowly getting there.

I hit the Paradym (not X, but would like to) 3-wood in a fitting, and had a similar experience - just an absolute point-and-shoot monster with an awesome flight.  Debating finding a Rogue ST 3/5/7 combo over at Callaway Pre Owned, since I'm guessing they'd be a very similar type of experience.  Glad to hear the hybrid's working out for you!

Driver - Callaway Ai Smoke Max - 9* - Draw setting; Maltby UL (Otto Phlex)
5/7 Wood - Takomo Ignis
Utility - Caley X01 Driving Iron (3 = 18*) (currently benched)

@GolfSpy_SAM thanks.  I did the same with my 3 and 5 woods, picking up some used Rogue ST Max on eBay.  I have hit them even less than the Paradym X hybrid, but with the minimal feedback I have (9 holes and one range session) I can tell you that I think they must be similar to your fitting experience.  Very easy to launch, similar ball flight to the Paradym X hybrid, and super straight thus far.  I'm pretty pumped about these new additions.

More to come.  Wish I could play more.  (My darn job - it funds my CHA habit, but keeps me off the course too.)

Glad you like it! I think it's definitely the sleeper between the two but I have seen more players flip into that then Paradym which in my opinion plays a little close to Apex UW if set up correctly. The X has a distinct higher launch aspect to it.

Gear junky degenerate.

I'm with you on the X hybrids.  I have a 4&5 in my bag, and really like how easy they are to hit.  I have them both lofted down 1*, and I'm not getting huge hybrid hooks.  😁
