I’ve seen a few social media horror stories of damaged bags/ clubs on the airlines and wondered if this forum has any tips/ hacks for traveling with their golf gear. Do you travel with a different set up than normal? Do you pack your gear in a certain way (e.g. remove heads from shafts, etc) Do you have specific gear you won’t travel without? Give me your best golf travel hacks. Take the heads off the woods if you're able and put those shafts in upside down. It folds to nothing when you don’t need it. I usually also use a big towel for cleaning my clubs during my rounds as a wrap around for the clubs too. It’s dual use.
