LeakyValve
Just got home from the “go to” place in my city for golf. In my mind the most trusted place. And I’m pretty shocked. Got my irons spec checked since I never checked them after I swapped with my cousin. He said a pro played them twice and sold them to him. I didn’t think they would be out too much. Boy am I wrong. The written sheet is what they spaced the irons. And the screen shot is what they’re supposed to be from factory. Needless to say. Get your irons checked! cnosil 1 Quote "We're weekend golfers. RickyBobby_PR
Did the pro who had them originally have them custom ordered? if not they still fall within most manufacturers tolerance for loft and lie. most manufactures only do their best to get to custom specs and for non custom specs they will try to get to stock specs but there’s no guarantee. Wakit300
Wow some of those are WAY off. Should play better for you now, if those specs fit you. I always get my lofts and lies checked at the beginning of the season because they're forged and can definitely move around a bit during the year. GolferXY
I ordered a set of Ping i525's a couple of years ago and was fitted for them. They came out way out of spec from the factory. Never buying Ping again. The further away from the standard specs one gets the lower the chances are they will be on spec. There are manufacturing tolerances that and the OEMs are only going to do their best to get them to the ordered specs. Its not feasible in a mass production industry. if you want specs that are right on you need to go to a club builder and have them do it Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
