biggerwoody6
I am currently gaming P790 irons with Dynamic Gold S300 105 shafts. I have increased my swing speed significantly this off season and it was recommended that I look at a heavier shaft in the S300. On the launch monitor I was swinging my 7 iron 99 mph with my current club. Could someone tell me the difference in ball flight and weights for these 3? Any recommendations? thanks for your help. GolfSpy_APH
They are all a little different. Any chance you can get into a shop and try the Mizuno Swing Optimizer? It will help narrow your most likely best fit shafts in 3 swings. Plus it is really cool. Basic differences is the 105 S300 is a lighter than the standard S300 (pretty sure it is in the 110 or so gram category, but would have to check again). The 120 R300 is a regular flex which may be okay, but may have too much kick for you. The 120 S300 is 120 grams. It is basically all about weight between those. Even if they have slightly different profiles. Best bet is to try a few at a shop, demo day or something like that and see what you seem to like or get along best with. biggerwoody6 and brogies 2 Quote as of Nov 6, 2023 (Past WITB) Driver: Paradym TD w/ GD ADDI 6X Driver Shootout! Thanks, I will try to find somewhere with the Mizuno Swing Optimizer. I meant to post the S300 120 and not the R300 - will have to update my post.
