Hacker60521
Apologies if this has been discussed already. But I couldn’t find anything on recent searches. I currently use the ShotScope X5 and first chose it because I liked the RFID sensor technology and no subscription fee. But the watch itself is a bit frustrating to use. I also tried the Arccos many years ago, and was very impressed by it — except I didn’t like having to keep the phone in my pocket. So now I’m thinking Arrcos with the new Link sensor. I know there’s a subscription fee and they’re still using a microphone to detect shots. Would appreciate your thoughts on Arrcos v ShotScope or any current threads on this. Thanks! golferguy2727
Lots of discussion on this topic. I have used both (as v2, v3 and now x5 - short journey also with j4) including arccos with Link- for me the best overall shot tracking performance was shot scope v3 - v5 seems to be very close/better but I’m also in the fence with the watch itself - but am getting used to the capabilities Quote Titleist T300 (2022) 5-PW, W48, W53 plus Taylormade Full Face 56 SW Current driver Titleist TSi3 Hybrids Titleist 818 19 H2 23 H2 Gamer Putter Nike Method Matters B1-07 Ball Titleist Tour Speed / Taylormade Tour Response Bag is Titleist Linksmaster Pushcart is Kaddey Rangefinder is Voice Caddie SL2 Shotscope club tags
elight
I use the Shotscope X5. I have never used Arccos but have friends who had it and gave up because of the subscription fees. For the money, Shotscope can't be beat. I have never had the issues that some others report with tons of missed shots, etc. I played 18 yesterday and think I only added in a single missed shot for the entire round. I did have a club tag break (screw part still in shaft unt I re-grip) and Shotscope had a new tag sent to me within a week. My only annoyance is that the round syncing (with the app on your phone) often doesn't work and requires a restart of the wtch, your phone or both. But a minor annoyance. Golf2Much
The other Shot Scope option is the H4. I've been using it for the last two years and I find it works great. I wear it on my waist/belt and incorporated the tagging of the clubs into my pre-shot routine.
