Fitness for Clubhead Speed

Recommended Posts

Afternoon! I'm looking to elevate my game by gaining club head speed! I've done the gym work, super speed sticks, stack system etc. and I've gained a lot of speed. I have sort of plateaued, and looking for more gym related lifts/workouts you may do or know. Bonus for pictures, videos, articles or anything!

THANKS EVERYBODY!

One new piece of advice I'd offer...go find the @Fit_For_Golf podcast and find the episode that features Tre Mullins.  Tre is an "average" guy from a frame/stature standpoint, but the podcast does a great job of chronicling Tre's journey to pick up speed. And pick up speed he has...he has Instagram reels (he's a great follow) wherein he reaches 140+ clubhead speed and 200+ ball speed!

The main takeaway or gem that I took away from the podcast:  just how much proper technique is needed to truly generate speed. I've done everything you're describing (gym work, Stack, etc) but I use the ground rather poorly and that's what's holding me back.  In short, lessons focused on speed might be the ticket.  Check out the podcast episode, it's a really good listen. (And Tre is on Skillest and is a phenomenal instructor...I wrote a couple articles about that too!)
