Rasmaniandevil
I'm in the market for a new putter grip and I stumbled on a SuperStroke grip with weights you can put in the end (https://a.co/d/g4Tk7QH). Not sure if I've been living on another planet, but I've never heard of these. Has anyone tried these weights? Do they help? It seems a little gimmicky, but my putting could use all the help I can get. With heavier grips, it will make the clubhead feel lighter, which may help with heavier mallet heads. I think it can help "quite the hands" in the stroke, but its all about feel and preference! What type of putter do you play with? What type of putter do you play with? Right now I'm using an Odyssey Tri-Hot double wide which I guess isn't super heavy, and moving the balance towards the hands doesn't sound like something I'd like. To be fair though, I've never tried it. Maybe I should look to try one at PGA superstore before regripping. Yes, I assume going with a heavier grip, one would have to add weight to the putter head to maintain swing weight and balance. My putter has a heavier head with lighter shaft and grip, but I actually took around 10g out of the head since the head felt too heavy for me and had trouble with lag putts. I am sure a golf shop has an Odyssey installed with a CB Superstroke grip to some degree you could try, but not sure if they'd have a similar weighted head attached to it or not Rasmaniandevil 1 Quote Paradym Ai Smoke Max 10.5 Driver; Graphite Design Tour AD-VF 6 S/ IZ 5 S Paradym Ai Smoke Max 3HL 16.5: Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue 65 S G430 7w: Ping Chrome 75 S Gen 2 0811 4H: Fujikura Pro 85 S TSR2 5H: Project X HZRDS Red 85 S 0211 DC 6-G: KBS TGI 80 S CBX 54: Rotex Wedge; CBX2 Zipcore 58: Project X Catalyst Spinner 80 M.Craft OMOI Type 06 ProV1x ; Linksmaster Bag

Tape nickels to the end of your putter, they weight 5 grams and would give you an idea of the amount of weight you prefer. You should also understand that many OEMs accomplish the additional grip weight by just using heavier grips instead of weights.
