    Wolf Creek

One day I'd like to play that course.
  2. Agree 100%. Still has a bit of nostalgia when he hits a flop or one of those wormburners that runs up to cup and goes in. Still fun to watch.
  3. You have to know his wedge/short game is going to be amazing tho.
  4. Wondering what everyone does in the winter to keep their swing, putting stroke, etc. in golf shape while the snow flies. Winters up in Northern Ontario are snowy and cold. Unfortunately, where I live there are no indoor driving ranges or golf Sims you can go have a couple beers at and go play Pebble Beach or Bethpage with the boys. Closest fitter to me is 2 hours away so that tells you what I'm up against. Curious to see what all of you who live north do to stay involved.
  5. I would personally do a comparison of your current clubs against what's out there in a fitting setting. The other thing to keep in mind might be to consider or keep an open mind about a set that is a mix of blades and GI irons. I play golf with a guy who has TM 790's for the top of his bag for the forgiveness and the new MC's for more feel at the bottom of his bag. He plays off a 6 HDCP. Also don't be afraid to try different brands or brands you may not consider. I personally have brand new steelhead xr's that I can shape a shot with. Considered GI irons with some workability. Not so
  6. Living in Northern Ontario can be daunting at times when the snow flies. We get lots of it. My wife decided on a 2017 Mitsubishi RVR. That thing goes through everything including a heavy snowfall. Good punchy engine especially if you get the GT edition. The drivetrain is amazing and is even covered under warranty for 10 years. Lots of room and is lots of fun to drive. I can tell you working for Gm, the new Buick Encore GX is really nice. The Terrain is nice too, that turbo 2.0 has some serious kick and it has room galour. Almost bought one before the misses told me to buy

  8. Congrats to all the testers. Can't wait to see how these tests are going to go. Considering these wedges for myself.
  9. Can't complain.....Glad I'm Back. After a number of years away from the game (golf always took a backseat financially). I'm looking ahead to a lot of golf and enjoyment I had playing the game as a young person. Wrist and hand are now fixed and healing well. Even pulled off an 83 my last round before surgery.
  10. So here’s the deal. I have a big gap in my golf bag. I recently returned playing golf after a long hiatus. this past summer, I bought a used SLDR S driver with a stiff Fujikara shaft. Love this thing. For my birthday, I got very lucky and bought a set of Callaway Steelhead XRs 5-pw, aw for 400 bucks. (Someone left a sale tag on the set for a set of Cobra F6s on clearance and the store gave me the Cally’s for the sale price. Saved 400 bucks) As you can see. There’s quite the gap between Driver and 5-iron. I do have a 3w I found of my father in laws but it must be 20 years old
