3rd grade PGA commissioner to LIV golfers - wait till you get to Scotland i will have my older brother beat you up , how sad .
Look at mickelson (  45 wins 6 majors ) in the top 10 American.golfers in the last 60 years , lifetime PGA member and they treat him like they are doing . 

so i guess with  your thinking the pga would  do the same to jack and tiger , after all they have their rules .

there are only 5 active pga tour golfers that have lifetime memberships -- phil  --tiger --singh --love -- watson  -----  mcilroy and dustin johnson are very close .
that is my thinking why the pga tour should let the lifetime members do what they want and play where they want .
for the pga it's not worth going to court 
do people think that if tiger took a billion $$ and put it toward his foundation or the golf gods made jack a great golfer again and jack took a billion that the pga would give jack or tiger the boot

just to chime in with my thoughts after reading many of the posts , after 8yrs 2m 10d active military ( plus 2yrs active reserves , plus active national guard ) , i gave it all up for better job , more money , less travel , more time with family , i am not a ***** like some people here would say .
i agree the pga is trying to protect their own interest ( top 12 employes  avg $1.7 mil/yr ) , i agree with phil m. the saudia's are a bunch of cmf's , what he said about the pga i don't know , he knows a lot more about them than i do
i do think that if phil m. ( pga lifetime member 20 tour wins , 15 yr member ) thied to play a pga tour event and they refused him it would go to court and phil would wiin .
next 2 jumpers to liv tour may be flower and bubba i think .

been watching mickelson for more than 30yrs as has others , we all know he  is a big time gambler on the course and off , he will not let the pga kick him around , he will kick back , his only way is thru the courts . i doubt if the 250 ( ? ) voting members of the pga voted to not let him play , it was just the people at the top , to mickelson this is just another gamble . i would add the key words are  --lifetime member -- , that's what a judge would look at .

everyone has one life to live , if someone has a chance play golf for more money  , 3 days , no cuts (  out of work  for the week  ) , spending more time with loved ones .
pga tour if you make the cut and finish in the middle  you may make around 50k , liv middle around  130k plus team $$
i think all pro golfers around the world don't make they are worth .

i would add this  ---Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer were among the players who split from the PGA of America and hired Joe Dey as the tour's first commissioner in 1968.---
i think the commissioner now makes around $5 million a year , if you take out the 10 top money makers  i would guess the rest make under $500,000 before all costs .

like i said on page 34, 50 to 60 years from now the only golfers people will talk about will be    b. jones --b. hogan --s. sneed -- a. palmer -- j . nicklaus -- tiger woods. , people will be saying , rory who , justin who. , i can't see anyone ever winning 80 tour events or 18 majors , if tiger did not hurt his back because of all the swing changes with new coaches and the car wreck he would have over 100 wins and at least 23 majors .

Lets make this negative at least a fun positive as we have lost history and tradition with the split.
