the way i see liv now is they have around 25 "A" players and 23 also rans , if liv can pick up 10 more pga tour "A" players this pro golf thing will get very interesting .
if it did happen the pga tour would be up against the wall and both sides would start talking together and settle this mes .
with the pga tour having a top 20 list ( who knows who they are ) and a so called tour within a tour the outside players it will be very easy for liv to pick up at least 10 players out of the top 40 tour players 
make a list of who you think the top 20 from the pga tour and liv and you will find it would be a very close match at this time , i really don't know who i would bet on .
at the same time if the 26 through 48 were matched up the pga tour guys would beat liv very very bad as the tour is very deep with excellent players 
 
 

I predict next summer we will see plenty of LIV players going through the open qualifiers - right along with other players who haven't qualified on points.  Its an OPEN - so anyone can qualify if they play well enough.  They just don't get an automatic qualification, they'll have to go play for it. 

Finally someone else has seen the light and and going with the inevitably reality of the future..
The Open will remain OPEN...

i would put the 4 best american liv players --dj--bd--pr--bk up against the top 4 pga tour  american players any day
like lee westwood said the pga tour has been  getting all the best international players for many many years , why --because of the prize money , can anyone spell liv ?

i don't know how deep the pga tour pockets are , they are putting up a lot off money with their new high dollar payouts , it could only be a 1-2 years thing  to fight off liv in hopes  that liv folds up their tent and goes away  ,which will not happen if liv pi.ck  up 8-10 more out of the top 50 tour players , if liv can't pick up at least 5 very good tour players in the nea 3 months they will be in big trouble .
does anyone know who the top 20 pga players are and if they start in jan 2023 will the same 20 players play all year or will the tour bump someone out and replace him with a better player .

one thing about liv on amazon silk ,  a person can go back and watch every event start to finish .

love  to see liv get  matsuyama $300 mil --adam scott $200mil--hovland $100 mil--rickie fowler $100 mil . what a great 4 man team it would be  , name them the internationals .

brandon grace injury at bangkok is one of the big reasons a pro should take liv money up front ,, in my 50 years of golfing i have seen  many people getting hurt , 10-20 mil or more  sure helps reduce the pain , in the old days players would swing normal . now they are all swing at least 20% above normal . 
 

i would bet there are people playing golf on the 2 tpc golf courses in texas greg norman designed

to me the owgr is a pga tour holding , look at the orgs that are on the board , i guess with liv having their back against the wall the have to do something , i'm sick of all the lawsuits .

as far a points to players , every course has a course rating and slope  , points should be awarded depending upon  rating / slope and strength of the field .only 
if i could play with the pros on a course with a course rating of 66 and a slope of 116 i could do pretty good .
if rory m was in a field of 70 golfers and he was the only one that had a world  rating under  70 and he played his avg game he would win at least 19 out of 20 times .
as far as liv getting points , the above things should apply  with only 3/4 of the points being given  .because of only 3 rounds .
also because of liv   playing only 48 golfers points should be awarded to only 1/2 ( top 24 ) scores , that would be like having a cut
liv played rich harvest farms  course in chicago --7600 yds--course rating 78 --slope 151
st andrews --7200 yds --course rating 75.2 ---slope  136
which course should get the most points with a strong field of players  ?

it seams to me jm should have set the big monet tournaments ( not majors or playoffs ) as a tournament within a tournament , with the top 20 playing ( no cut for them ) for 14mil and the others playing for 8 mil , then jm would be 90% sure the tour would not lose any of them to liv .

like i posted a couple weeks ago liv should give fox free rights for a year or two , did not think they would pay fox to run the liv golf , but if they can get the viewership numbers up very high then liv will have some leverage .
the fox deal is the only big news we will see until after zozo in japan . i still think matsuyama will  make up a good japan/korea team as good a the dj team .
question for someone ,   the tour top 20 have to play 20 times in 2023 , does the same  top 20 .players play all year or do the ones that get sick/hurt/play bad get  replaced , if so who replaces a couple of them ., number 21/22 on the world ranking .?

This potential Fox deal is interesting. LIV would actually pay Fox rather than vice versa.

This whole LIV vs. the PGA is off the hook dumb. Play where you want and shut the F up about it. I can see both sides (arguments), but I just don't care. I'm tired of the whole thing already. I'll watch either "tour" if it's on my TV. I don't give two sh**s about the politics of it all. I don't really understand why anyone else does either, but, to each their own, I guess.
