A Sunday boost for what should be one of the most read threads on this forum.

If you are serious about wanting to be a tester, read this thread. I made this new so you did not have to read through pages and pages of posts to get to know where, what and how and anything else is important.
    It is all right there!
I will be completely transparent here - we need more active and engaged members. We have a TON of amazing testing opportunities lined up and available for our community. However we are still only going to select those who are engaged with the community and participate. If that means active and contributing members get multiple tests in a season, then so be it!
People who just come to sign up, post in the testers wanted and then leave till the next week, that really is fine! We hope you stay and enjoy reading the content, but it is very hard for us to select someone with that history or profile for products that are valued at hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
There needs to be a level of trust and history in order for us to have confidence in selections. These are not giveaways or prizes. The companies that we get to provide product, follow, watch and sometimes even participate in the testing opportunities and we need members who are going to dive head first into these reviews. Not just for the final review, but for the whole testing period.
We have already done several selections this season and there are man great options, it makes it hard to choose at times, but there are also times where can see that someone hasn't logged in for the last 4 months till now and hasn't posted in 8 months. Hate to break it to that person, but we just aren't going to take that risk.

The best way for you to get noticed and on our radar is by participating on the forum, doing a WIYB post with a little intro, take part in various areas on the forum that interest you and have fun with it!
Have a great Super Bowl Sunday all and I hope that this guide will lead to many many many more of our members getting selected.

I want to thank all the testers.  Your feedback was invaluable and helped me to buy the Ai putter.

Thank you for the additional insight toward participation throughout the year and testing. I'm very happy that I stumble across MGS over a year ago.
Only bad thing... I didn't find you sooner!!!
Glad to be a proud member!!

The JB Mini CH and Rosie S look interesting to me, but they don’t have them in LH…oh well!
But I too have no regrets with the 7S…I am extremely happy with my choice and the results.

Great question!  And I've mentioned this several times throughout the test, but will preempt by saying I have ZERO REGRETS about the DB!
If it was currently in the options, I am probably one of the few that would not choose a jailbird/jb mini.
I would more than likely go with the Rossie S midmallet that I shared images of a few times in this test. I would probably stay with the DB also, if it was in the plumbers neck!!!
**I did offer to ship/swap putters with anyone who wanted to try the DB out to see if it would work, or that we're not happy with theirs. This included the milled testers too**

Great question, I would want actually 2 models, I would want the AI#1 CH but with NO Hosel and the double bend shaft directly into the putter head, and the DB with the same Shaft.

If you were selected for this test today, would you change the model you would want to test?
The new releases add some variety to choose from!

I'm thinking the more dots the stiffer, but also the higher the kick point. Does it give a torque rating for each shaft?
thanks for the interesting feedback, have a great day!

This is a great idea!  Was this their first contribution as official MGS leaders or the reason they got selected???

This seemed to be the ultimate in testing opportunities! Fittings, full bag setups, intense and fun challenges!
I've read through the testing thread and reviews and have to say it sounded like it was an excellent outcome overall!
The final article posted above definitely showed the effort put into the tests.

    Thanks for sharing!

@Jim Shaw. Go for it. I know many people refuse to use covers and for them that OK. I don't like the noise as I walk and more importantly, the nicks that happen. I know often the reason is it slows pace of play. Frankly, I tallied how long it took me to remove and replace my covers for a round of 18. 6 minutes total. While on the same round the time I spent on the tees waiting for the group ahead was 32 minutes. Just saying, if you like covers, go for it.
Very nice job everyone. Well done. Thank you for your input.

the iron covers look really interesting, My Takomo 301 MB's are beautifully soft however they do get nicked a bit while walking etc. i have been kicking around the idea of iron covers and these look really nice.
