I seen that there were a few PGA Pros using the AI putters in the Sentry tournament today.

Wonder if you did take off the bottom plate… would it mess up the positioning of the AI?

Wife Equals 3 Putt?!  Three Putt Challenge….
I don’t think so, I had the Odyssey AI#1 in hand at the Country club.
I got the wife out to help with this test, I had her randomly throw out the golf balls and then choose what hole I was to putt on the green, I would attempt the putt and hope to get down in 2 and not 3 putt.
The putts ranged from a minimum of approximately 20ft to just over 50ft, we did this 40 times with the putts consisting of uphill, downhill, left to right, right to left breakers.
Here are the results from the 40 putts.
1 putts =  2 --  5%
2 putts = 32 – 80%
3 putts = 6 --  15%
I would say the Odyssey AI#1 performed outstanding, knowing that I didn’t hit every putt in the center yet to have the ball roll out as if I did, the distance control was good even though I had a couple run past the hole from some of the longer putts, the dispersion was tighter than my normal putts with my old putter and still amazes me that the AI can produce such results.
I’ve almost have the center strike test completed, I must put out my new green in the family room to finish. More to come on that test.

The Milled Ai that Chris Kirk used to win this past week is a 6 with a plumbers neck, that doesn’t show up on any website that I can find for available models…so they do get special treatment (it’s like these guys are good or something!)

After testing for launch numbers, I have decided not to bother posting the full numbers. All the premium options I have tested are just too similar for me to differentiate between them. And I'm sure if Titleist wants perfect numbers, they can get them from a robot or PGAT pro.
I am going to post the important 7i numbers for Triad, and the ProV1, TEST, and VG3 (mainly to show how similar the numbers were). As well as the PW numbers for TEST and VG3.
Averaged from about 10 shots with each club. One "redo" allowed for each club. Tested by an amateur, in a net, on fake grass, and with a Garmin R10. So take all these numbers with a pinch of salt.
7 iron (85 mph club speed)
Triad: Carry 153, 4973 rpm, 15.4° launch angle, 107 mph ball speed. ProV1: Carry 154, 4672 rpm, 15.3° launch angle, 108 mph ball speed. TEST: Carry 152, 4186 rpm, 15.3° launch angle, 106 mph ball speed. VG3: Carry 153, 4651 rpm, 15.6° launch angle, 107 mph ball speed. Pitching wedge (77 mph club speed)
TEST: Carry 107, 9454 rpm, 26.9° launch angle, 87 mph ball speed. VG3: Carry 110, 8516 rpm, 28.2° launch angle, 87 mph ball speed. So, after a month and a half of testing, my final conclusion for the TEST ball is...
That of all the golf balls of all time, the TEST is certainly one of them. It seems to me like it's another premium ball that might better suit the amateur much like the AVX. While I personally don't rule out the possibility of it being a VG3, I still think that it is actually an AVX.
So unless it is released under a different name AND at a lower price, I see no reason to buy this over other $35-$40 per dozen ball models. And there is especially no reason to buy it over a ProV1 for the same price (I was super impressed by the ProV1s on course performance).
