It's been busy here at the Chunks household the last few weeks, we had to get ready for a yard sale and while my wife was taking care of that, I was keeping the house in line. I haven't played a lot lately, but was able to get out today to walk 9 holes.
The Q Follow still continues to impress and be fun to use around the course. Today was an exceptional day as I was the most relaxed I've been on playing golf in a long time. I was just able to walk along and enjoy some wonderful fall weather while Wall-E carried my bag.
I had no issues whatsoever with the trolley today and was just able to enjoy the round. I continue to love the 36 hole battery because I haven't charged it since my last round. It started the day at 47% and ended with 30% after playing nine holes. I didn't get crazy with it today as I've gone from testing mode to enjoying the day and taking care of it mode.
I'm starting to get used to hitting the follow and stop buttons with the remote clipped to my belt. It makes it so much easier than taking it off and putting it back on.

I have read all the reviews and……y’all hit it out of the park!  The pics, vids and commentary were excellent. The only bad point I can impart is that I was not chosen to be a tester. This has been on my bucket list for several years(6 to be exact). I have wanted a follow cart and the Stewart is by far the best.  Hoping to eventually get one and walk so I can strengthen my left ankle more.
Again, thanks to all the testers for being Frank and putting the Q through the paces.

Thanks for the kind words @fozcycle, they mean a lot. The exercise benefits of having the follow was a major point for me, also. My legs are the weakest part of my body and something I've neglected for far too long. I'm hoping by walking more it'll help strengthen them, plus I'm starting to do some body weight exercises to supplement it. Right now it's all about starting slow so I don't get so sore I can't move. I did leg day once about 25 years ago and that was enough. 😂
I hope you can eventually get a follow cart, I think you'd enjoy it and would see the benefits of walking without having to push.

Well, with only so much I can do ahead of getting the moving truck on Monday, and my wife tired of seeing me pace around the house looking for something else to pack, she suggested I go play golf.  This area is really funny about this time of year when it comes to course play.  For the past couple of weeks Beaverhead has been packed and tee times taken until near noon.  Today, the course was nearly void of players.  Local high school and college football games, archery season underway and rifle season around the corner just takes the locals interests elsewhere.
So Stewey and I headed out, me in the lead and him trailing behind.  The course is quite flat and I used follow mode the entire round except for a couple holes where I wanted to see how the cart worked in complete manual mode.
Having scratched that test off my list, I went back to follow and never really paid much attention to my shadow.  Once again, I chose to carry the pendant in my hand and simply set it atop my clubs when going to play my balls (I played a 2 ball game). When crossing the several bridges, I just slowed down, got the cart close, and walked slowly watching to make sure all was good.  I never had one issue with it 👍.  Some of the greens have pretty hefty moguls/berms around them and the cart made its way up and over and even down side slopes without a problem.  On a couple of occasions I kept expecting to hear a crash, but it did not happen. 👏  My battery life was 61% after getting home and hooking up to the recharger.  I'm confident it would get through another 18 - for sure on that track.
It was kind of bittersweet today in that this may very well be my last time playing golf in Montana.  Today started at 44F and finished at 71F, under bright blue skies and very light winds.  Tomorrow, I'll repack Stewey in his shipping box in preparation for his new digs in AZ.

Great videos Bill! I think we might have a YouTube star in the making. I'm glad to see you did one on the freewheel mode, I haven't tried disengaging the wheels yet. I'm also happy to see the Pony Express got the bag to you, too.

So about an hour ago, my UPS driver drops off the cart bag and asks "so now what did they send you to test?" 😄  I told him about the rather unexpected bonus gift from Stewart Golf and he suggested I grab some lottery tickets before the mojo runs out.  After seeing the other testers photos, I was so hoping mine was the black/red accent color scheme as well.  My ZX5's have red badge accent and with the red colored "Align" grips, its a perfect match.
Once again, the folks at Stewart Golf care about protecting their products during shipping.  The bag was double boxed and in a plastic bag.

This a very nice looking, well constructed bag.  I've never owned a "cart bag" before as I do so much walking with a push cart that a stand bag seems to be a better fit.  Also, I was always thinking that these cart bags would be quite heavy - this one sure isn't. I'm guessing there will be little difference in weight between it and my current bag. I like the separate club dividers, similar to my Sun Mountain Four 5. The zippers are heavy duty and really easy to open/close.  Love the foil lined "cooler" pouch!  The bag cover is of nice quality and very easy to attach using the Velcro tabs.
It's also got my playing name embroidered on the front.  Now on the #1 tee, Stewart Golf from Great Britain 😊.

I plan to test the caddie with both bags and see what if any difference there is.  Repeating myself here, but HUGE SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to the folks at Stewart Golf for this very nice bonus item!!  👏

I had some time this morning to run some initial tests with the cart.  Apologies in advance for the sophomoric quality of my foray into YouTube videos.  I had already packed away the small stand and remote I had purchased to do my short videos during my EvnRoll ER5v Putter tests.  I wanted to try using YT for this product test as those seem to load much better for most folks.  That process actually went smoother than I had anticipated.  These really should come with a "warning" but I'll keep working on my technique and delivery in hopes of keeping up with all of our forums tech-savvy yutes 😄.
Just as I started setting up, the wind blew in some of the worst wildfire smoke we've had all year. It's really unfortunate as you would normally see the various mountain ranges surrounding us in the background.  I was going to spend a bit more time running tests, but decided to wait until this blows through... hopefully sooner than later 🥴.

Here are another couple videos, this time “sending” the Q to the other side of the green from me, and one keeping it on the path while going over a rounded section that had a dip in front and on the back.

Now some pics of the cart bag I received! The embroidery, and the carbon look are awesome! Really nice bag! I don’t like the grab bar on the front because my wedges aren’t long enough to stand above it when the bag is loaded for a riding cart, so I’d rather the bar/bars be on the sides.

Well, one round in and all good! I put it to the test the best I could on hills, small drainage areas that cut across the fairways, on sides of hills, downhill, etc. Two big tests today were climbing the hill to the elevated tee box on the par 3 number four hole which is about 20 feet above the path. I put the cart in follow mode and climbed the hill. No issues!!! Then I took video on the 22th hole that has some mounds near the green. I sent the cart up the quick, steep mound and it stayed-up. It was back as far as it would go, but held-on.
My bags weighed right around 28lbs, and the recommended weight is 31. All-in-all it was a good first showing. I’ll say this, the Q can MOVE! A couple times I had it going down the fairway and felt it was about to get out of range! I almost got run over twice when I didn’t hit the “stop” button hard enough! Ha! I jumped out of the way just in-time!!!
    Here are some videos.

Didn't read the instructions, eh?  The one that says the first thing you should do is give it a full charges.  OK, OK... I probably wouldn't either!!  🤣

I got it charged up and took it out for a spin after supper. It came with a 60% charge and after a couple of hours it was up to 81%.
I played around with remote steer and follow, the guys at Stuart Golf are right in that it's going to take a bit to get used to it and fully trust the cart. Overall, my first impression was positive as it was easy to control and follow worked exceptionally well.
I let my wife control it and she loved it! She was just beside herself with happiness as you'll see in this video.

I had to hold back the excitement in my voice when she was controlling it, too. I love seeing her happy and excited which leads to the same types of reactions from me. Honestly, when I first got to test it out yesterday, I was like:

Now on to today's experience as I was able to get out to play nine. In the guy that HATES calling for a tee time, I've been spoiled to courses in my area that aren't overly crowded...Plus, I hate talking on the phone. I showed up and it was busy but the guy at the desk told me to fit in when I could. I finally noticed no one on 8 or 9 and asked to tee it off on the back. He let me! The back is has more hills than the front, so I wanted to see how it did.

    20220902_110728.mp4
I found it easy to control in both guided and remote mode. I actually used the remote more than follow because it was just so fun controlling it. I did have a couple of issues getting it to turn on a couple of holes, but for now I'm going to chalk it up to having a learning curve.
Follow had a couple of hiccups, mostly in the fact it would get a little herky-jerky taking off and would occasionally make small, abrupt moves while following.

20220902_125641.mp4 I will say the Q Follow is stable on hills and through some rough patches. If you look to the left in this photo you'll see some brown where there's a gully and my ball. I took it down in there and back out without problems.

I also had it in follow on the 18th and it hit a two inch tall reflector, nearly went airborne, and didn't turn over. I'm impressed because I turned around when I heard it hit and thought it was gone.
Lastly, the battery life was great. I start with an 81% charge and when I got in the car it was only down to 61. I could see getting 36 holes before needing to charge again.

It has been right around a year since this test. Let's talk about durability. I know this is hard to believe but it's true. I hit a very straight ball and I rarely loose one at my course. Wait for it!
I have had the same sleeve of balls in play since this test started. One fell out of my pocket while in the cart so it was lost somewhere. The second was taken out of play due to a cart path rash.
Here is a picture of the third one compared to a new one from the next sleeve out of the original box.

The gloss coat is pretty much gone. I cleaned the ball but the stains are somewhat stubborn. I am actually wearing through the white paint in spots. When you take into consideration that this sleeve has seen about 75 rounds and roughly 5,625 hits across the three of them. I can say they are very durable.
I did not see any change in performance. This particular ball came through with a 69 a week or so ago. Lately its been a game to see how long I can play it. But it's time for it to find its place in the shag bucket.
