  1. My 70 year old mother has decided that she wants to take up golf and I need to get her a set of clubs. Are there any decent starter sets for women out there for around $500?
  2. Has anyone had success getting a response from Arccos customer service? My Link stopped working and its been more than week since I called and sent an email with no response. It seems shady to me that there is no way to cancel the subscription on the website, you have to send them an email requesting the cancelation and I haven't gotten a response to that in 2 days either.
  3. I'm 43 and the past few years I have switched to a yellow ball for the fall and winter because I couldn't see the white ball. Now I am sticking with a yellow ball all year round and it is so much easier to see.
  4. Rain gear reviews understandably always seem to focus on jackets. I'd like to see more info on rain pants.
  5. My experience at the pro shop at Fort Belvoir is that they usually charge retail for clubs. They usually don't have much club inventory, but will order whatever you want. I would suggest calling the course closest to you. If you are looking for a military specific club discount the PXG Heroes program is the best out there. https://www.pxg.com/en-us/heroes
  6. I've been using the caddy towel for years. Simply wet one side for clubs and ball then throw it over the top of the bag leaving the dry side for hands and face. The one I'm using right now was tie dyed. https://www.amazon.com/McArthur-Ribbed-Caddy-Towel-White/dp/B0891N6X5X/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=caddy%2Bgolf%2Btowel&qid=1684356001&sr=8-6&th=1
  7. I'm all for anything that makes the game more enjoyable and brings people in. If its not a competition round I think its a good idea for a casual beginner.
  8. I received it last week and took it. I thought the questions were interesting, I'm curious to see the results
  9. @Prodigal Duffer, I agree. After the first few holes with the X1 I had a lot of confidence, feeling that I knew exactly what the ball would do in terms of ball flight and landing.
  10. Just on looks and feel they seem just as good as a ProV1 and I'm all about saving $15
  11. I usually snack on peanut butter crackers or nuts throughout the round, sometimes pack a peanut butter sandwich. but if I stop for a snack at the turn it's always a hotdog
