Love the full cord grips (Lamkin UTx) for Driver - PW but prefer hybrid/half-cord grips (Lamkin Z5) on wedges.

New Ben Hogan Player's Iron Combo Set (pix)
Sox Fan replied to GolfSpy Barbajo's topic in Golf Clubs
These look amazing! Have gamed the PTx Pros for about a year and am very happy with them. Would love to try the ICONs though. UiHi 5 and possibly 4 are definitely on my radar. Will be trying one as soon as it hits the demo program. -
Thanks. I also had the 5 wood and 4 hybrid but couldn't hit those near as well for some reason so they had to go.

Have been entering this, and all RBG contests, daily for about 3 years. Will win something from them one of these days...

Driver - Ben Hogan GS53 10.5° w/ Accra TZ6 55 M4 3 Wood - Tour Edge Exotics CBx 5 Wood - Callaway XHot Pro Hybrid - Callaway Apex (OG) 23° Irons - Ben Hogan PTx Pro (5 - PW) Wedges - Ben Hogan Equalizer 50, 54, 58 Putter - Ben Hogan BHB-02 Ball - Bridgestone Tour B RX Really want to round out the Hogan bag with FWs and hybrid but it has not worked out that way yet. Have the GS53 3 and 5 woods but haven't found the proper shaft fits to enable them to outperform my current FWs. Will demo and hopefully purchase the VKTR+ to take over the 4 hybrid spot. The VKTR did not get it done.

Very solid setup for very little money in golf equipment terms. -
Solid setup and like that you are making club decisions based on the course you are playing.

In regards to the wedges, take a serious look at the Hogan Equalizers. Very budget friendly and are phenomenal wedges IMO. -
Wilson Deep Red Fat Shafts
Sox Fan replied to Bob M's topic in Introduce Yourself/ WIYB (What's In Your Bag)
Definitely old school. Have never hit them but am familiar with them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! My 5 wood is not quite as old as these but is about 8 years old and nothing I have tried has been able to kick it out of the bag. -

In regards to the irons, play what makes you happy. None of us are counting on this game to put food on the table so play what you desire. -

WITB 2020 upgraded in style editions
Sox Fan replied to chadwzimm's topic in Introduce Yourself/ WIYB (What's In Your Bag)
Very solid setup! When you are in need of new wedges, I would definitely consider Mizuno. Their wedges are tremendous and very underrated IMO. -
Look at the Ben Hogan irons also. Amazing irons at a very budget friendly price. Also, the Equalizer wedges are incredible and much less costly than the major OEMs.
