  1. I have to agree with the crew.... M Grind is exactly what you are looking for.
  2. I will preface this comment by saying I am a Titleist man for the last 15 years.....and always will be. The new iron line looks UNREAL.... I can't wait for my fitting, and having the black finish on launch is brilliant on their part. Incremental changes are what Titleist is all about, and I, for one, am very appreciative. They are not claiming anything outlandish but refinement of what is already one of the best irons available today. I play a 2022 T100 black limited edition coming from the AP2s. The lines are cleaner, and the finish is stunning. Titleist holding true to their 2-year cycle on everything also gives me confidence that they are really delivering on the technology gains that they have figured out in those 2 years. Nothing worse than buying something and six months later, a new release from your OEM claiming a breakthrough..... (TM and Callaway anyone??) I can trust Titleist not only as the best golf ball manufacturer but also being a company of some ethics in a very cutthroat industry where ethics are somewhat forgotten. They make outstanding products that they stand by; hopefully, some things will never change. Will I be out more money.... yes....is Titlesit out for my hard earned money....of course they are. I am OK with that as long as they are delivering the best, and in my opinion, they are.
  3. I am going to have to disagree that it will not hurt the game respectfully. First, there is nothing broken about golf. They have capped the length of the drivers, and the ball is now where the focus has shifted and can also be capped at this point. I don't know where to begin with so many points here. Let's start with other sports. There are so many complaints that we do not have enough scoring or excitement in our pro sports....not many want to go to a baseball game and see a 1-0 game (I am a purist and love defence, so I am not in this category) or a 6-3 NFL game. Several rule changes have increased the excitement/scoring in all professional sports. Direct correlation.... no one wants to pay to see a PGA pro hit a 280-yard drive..... hell I can do that!!! Golf is NOT broken.... it's actually getting much better. LIV has escalated the level that the PGA Tour is paying their members and, in turn, more drama in the events this year. Also..... amateur golf is also thriving. I am in Toronto, Canada, and our courses are packed.... Junior and Mid-Am events have 100-deep wait lists. Sadly, the price of golf has exploded with it. Golf is thriving. Now why bifurcation is bad..... Pros today are athletes of the highest calibre. They are not the pros of even 20 years ago. They train extensively, and it shows. Hitting drives of 330+ are amazing to watch.... all being done with the exact same equipment I can use!!!! This is a great thing. I don't want the pros using a different ball or even clubs that I can not obtain. This is something that is so perfect about golf. I can play Sawgrass the week after they play it..... it's almost the same condition with the same ProV1 at a length that my 55-year-old swing can handle, and see what I can do.... it's pure sports. I can not play at Yankee Stadium or the Boston Garden, but I can play Copperhead on Tuesday. Why would bifurcation benefit the sport in any way? Do we cap how hard a baseball player can hit a ball? Decompress a puck? I get we cannot have 8,000-yard courses, and in some insane logic, we are preserving the environment more by maintaining the length of courses (I can't get my head around that). There is no benefit to bifurcation, and it will disincentivise players to train harder and to improve their game. Grow the rough out and firm up the greens.....you want a -1 to win a pro tournament; there are different ways to do it. Look at the US Open.... enough said. Stop messing with something that is not broken and only getting better. Sorry for the scrambled rant, but this one pissed me off!!!
  4. I am assuming that should read "money"......and you are EXACTLY right!
  5. So this is a very limited run that was offered to their existing client base. I think Jamie told me they are only make 500 sets in total....or something around that number. I am a Titleist man from driver to 58*, but I have to get these.... the custom experience is truly incredible. I will report back.
  6. Hi my name is Nick..... I am a golf Ho..... I cannot afford these and really don't need them by any stretch of the imagination, but I just purchased the sexiest new set of irons on the planet. Maybe a support group or an intervention is necessary at this point? Open to suggestions.
  7. I am trying to forget turning 55 and you guys suck me back in!!!!!
  8. I will say this..... it's good to swing and keep the swing in some semblance of working order. The place I got to is a amazing facility in Toronto and it's a Trackman shop. I am a 6 handicap in real life but on the trackman app I am a 2 handicap. So don't get carried away with stats and stuff like that....chipping and short game is much much easier. Work on technique and form. Driving stats are really great. Other than that it's a video game.
  9. Just want to chuck my $0.02 into the conversation.... I recently upgraded to the ShotLink and placing in on the outside of the pocket, left side gave me amazing results. It missed TWO shots all round. When I went onto the dashboard I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy in every shot in relation to the course. I also have to add that the sensors I currently use are arccos smart grips (tour velvet that I installed last year) New dashboard is great.... I have to say with the ShotLink my experience has been much more enjoyable and way way more accurate. Hope this helps.
  10. I am a 6 handicap and am currently playing a set of Titleist 718 MB's and they are goddam glorious. Fine....I am not good enough to play these but I can confirm that I maybe 1 to 2 strokes better on a bad day with my T100's.... can I use those 1 or 2 strokes..... absolutely but I'll won't be told what to do....and you are NOT an idiot. Also, it's true you concentrate way more using the MB's.
  11. I am with you on this.... being a Team Titleist man I can't wait. I love my 8's and I personally have gone thru two sets. Then again I play a lot. We will see how these feel but man they look amazing!
  12. I go between the GP Tour wraps in white and the Iomic Sticky 2.3 in white. Both are great....really stay tacky after a little moisture is applied. Very easy on the hands as well.....both highly recommended
  13. Well that just crushed my dreams.....
  14. Update....got the lofts and lie's re-done on the T100s by a professional that knew what he was doing and they are back to normal....feel amazing. Pic of the bag in it's current state
  15. I am a Titleist hardcore loyalist but I have to say that I moved the T100s out of the bag for Mizuno JPX Tour with my trusty C-Taper 120 shafts and they have been incredible. I messed around with the lofts (2 weak) and the lie (2 Flat) on the T100's and wanted to go back to standard....now they just felt off to me. Rest of the bag: TSi4 Driver, TSi2 3 and 5 wood. Vokey 50-54-58 and Futura 6M Custom (Mid-Long) used as an Arm lock.
