  1. Its really easy.... Be active. Be respectful. Be lucky. Show you can give a thoughtful review. O and have profile information. Honestly since you joined 35 mins ago and this is your first post odds are quite slim. But I know there have been people who have been here a month or less who have become testers.
  2. I picked up a dozen Prime and got them in just before I played 90s over 3 days... let's just say I have less then a dozen now. I think I lost a dozen balls over this time maybe 5 were Snell I need to do a full test and writeup but a few quick points. Feel: Fine.. didn't compare directly to others. But no concerns, a touch on the firm side but thats what I prefer and am used to Performance: Good did not have any concerns with any of the shots I hit. Flew good had expected spin and trajectory. Durability: How many did I lose? Actually I think I lost most day 1. So I think there were maybe 16 holes straight with the same ball and they held up great no major scuff marks. Aesthetics: Not a huge fan of the new logo but thats the least important piece. Outside of the I like the addition alignment, I didn't necessarily notice a color difference but again didn't compare to other balls. Hopefully that gives you some quick hitters. I hope to get to the practice green this week and get some comparisons.
  3. I printed one myself but mostly just to get it to mat level i don't have any alignment laser at the moment either. It is easy to align but can take it up a notch if you want/need that.
  4. So it all depends on what you're looking for and what your budget is. Are you in it for numbers and accuracy? Are you in it for fun and simulation? If you can spend more you usually get more. The pinnacle (Non-Pro) seems to be GC2 but thats 3-6k. There are 3 main price tiers, under 1k, 2k, 3k+. Each device has different things depending what you looking for. Start here for basic overview of what's out there https://mygolfspy.com/buyers-guides/golf-technology/buyers-guide-best-personal-launch-monitors-2022/ I have a R10 and enjoy it because it met my budget, specs, and offered indoor simulation on E6 for no extra cost and I can bring it to the range on occasion if I like.
  5. Congratulations everyone what a great group. Let's celebrate Cobras 50 years and watch this test go through the roof.
  6. Couple hours to go this is always one of the most interesting tests if the year. Good luck everyone! LGLG
  7. So having a conversation with a group outside of the forum and the topic of bag gapping came up. For the last 10 years or so have only carried 1 fairway wood with the main goal of long way off the deck. This could leave 30+ yards between my next club. I ditched the 2nd fairway because I was so rarely in that distance maybe once a round would I be on a par 5 that I wanted to go for it in 2 but at that distance. I'll admit I can hit it a good ways and that gap is 205-240. Do many of you see a lot more use from these longer clubs?
  8. I got a box of RCT back in November and opened 1 sleeve have hit them at least 1000 times so say 3-400 a piece. I rarely hit wedges since I can clear my screen with them. The logos on the balls are tatered but the cover themselves look perfectly fine.
  9. Great intos so far. Its interesting to see the comparison of @Getoffmylawn who has a pretty good idea of what he needs and couldn't get fit so to will be all trial and error and @Triple_Puttwho hasn't had a fitting and at least has a start to his path from the fitting.
  10. Yea my dad started about 10 years before me he had a good 5 years of beating me as I learned in my teens. We obviously hit a point of my flexibility and strength greatly over powered him not 15 years later him being retired and me with kids has slowed me down and he has dropped a few stokes in the mean time.
  11. Got to take a quick 2 days of tons of golf with my dad. 36 Thur and 45 Friday. A little all over the place low 9 of 37 high 9 of 50. I believe 11 balls lost and 7 birdies. Hoping to get out Monday but weather looks terrible. 36* 23mph wind real feel of 23*. My dad beat me on the very first round which only happens once a year and he is sure proud it happend first round.
  12. Wow sounds like quite the ordeal. Thats my biggest concern with the fittings is how knowledgeable they fitters are. This opens up many more doors for the fitter but it now something new that may not fit into their time alloted. I appreciate all the extra effort you are putting in to make it right for this test. I'm glad you came to the right combination but the confirmation really allows you to not second guess.
  13. Appreciate the insight. Yea I don't just between putters very often but definely a place I need to improve.
  14. How has the 10.5S been treating you? Did it make it in the bag for the season? I am really liking the head shape and curious how it has been over the last several months.
  15. I'm really curious to understand how the fitting goes and how knowledgeable the fitters are. Also if someone does get the extra weight how much fine dialing in you can get.
  16. Congratulations everyone this tread is getting an immediate follow.
  17. I agree that's why I wanted to give it a try. I also wanted to do a bunch of different grip testing so I didn't want to damage them.
  18. There are obviously plenty of companies who do this printing (i have used golfballs.com). Seems fairly niche for someone to have one personal but hopefully they do for your sake. Good luck.
  19. Balls arrived Saturday. A week ahead of their arrival. Hopefully I can get out before a small golf trip on Thursday. If not I have 90 holes of testing.
  20. Over the last few years I always want to root for the underdog brands. Love seeing this match up. You got to fix that 5i ferrule to match the rest the red ferrule really compliments them.
  21. Added grips with air for the first time the other day was pretty easy. I need to get the right nosel, the one I used was pretty large but made it work. I do need to get better at removing grips with the removal tool currently at <50% success rate.
  22. Been thinking about some SMS irons tbh...wonder why. But really the 2 clubs that are in contention are Cleveland Soft Milled 10.5S putter love the short mid mallet for some reason just catches my eye this year. The other is driver going back and forth between Ping 430 LST & Paradym triple diamond.
  23. His and hers (7 months pregnant) Ring around the Gose (Sour Beer) & Heineken 0.0
