  1. Got out to play 18...then 9 more Pretty short course so good fun practice course. Par 70 5400yrds Shot +5 though 18 got a couple birdies including a chip in which made me feel ecstatic so early in the season. Last nine was another +5 played irons only to get use since it was driver wedge on most holes. The wind really threw odd my distances. Had a 6i go 140 and 8i go 165. So fun to product.
  2. Just got a shipping notification so balls are coming in early. USPS is saying 4/8 so hopefully I'll be hitting them next week.
  3. I have been intrigued by leather. Which one are you sporting?
  4. I'm a bit surprised they fit you into the P7MCs especially if you have a steep AoA. I love me some thin top line, but as it comes to long irons thicker really gives so much to the forgiveness side. If you can't stand looking at a club with some meat behind it, then don't force it either. Like mentioned above JPX Forged or HMB, has more forgiveness but only still fairly slim. The 790 UDI, Srixon ZX Utility, or Callaway X-Forged Utility are all great choices.
  5. Wonder how this would compare to R10 or MLM2. The personal LM space is really getting crazy right now.
  6. Glad they are back sick good value for their product. We will have to see how their quality goes. Got my order placed for the MTB Prime. Actually reached out to customer service about switching my "pre-order" to a test pack and they said it had already shipped. May arrive a sooner then expected.
  7. I am doing this same investigation on my end looking for my go to grip. I've played Tour Wrap for 10 years easy but have had issues with sweaty hands or humid days. I also prefer no glove but when I do use a glove its a rain glove for better grip. I have Lamkin Sonar+ on a few of my clubs and have enjoyed it and feel like it's impossible to let them slide out.
  8. Thinking back ignoring hand-me-down mismatched sets i believe the chronological order and approximate years. Full iron sets: Peak? Junior box set (2000-2003 years) Topflite 2000 (2004-2012) Taylormade R11s (2013-2019) Maltby TS1s (2020- present) Mizino MP-33s (1-2 rounds a year & sim play) I honestly bet I could dig up all but first set.
  9. The TS1-IM looks great but TS4 in the 8-PW would be perfect. I have been really craving a good combo set and I think those will be perfect to start it. And then decide if its TS3 or TS1 and the longer end
  10. Looks good on mobile so far. Didn't know you could change themes thanks for that.
  11. Looks like I may need to test out TS2. My issue is too much spin so not sure non LS is best.
  12. Appreciate the comment. I didn't consider the resale aspect of the shafts.
  13. Alright newish and ready to experiment. My current irons are playing 1/2" shorter then I prefer. 6i is currently 36". I have a spare 3i shaft that I do not use and was debating soft stepping to gain that extra half an inch. I also have added extensions to my irons in previous sets. I know soft stepping will make my irons slightly less stiff which if anything I need slightly stiffer compared to my last fitting. Help me learn what do you all think is best?
  14. Here goes: Comparing the Maltby offering of 7irons I have on hand TS1, TS3, PTM, and TE(6i). I also put the MP-33(6i) in as Lob Wedge for reference. View the data below for full details from my R10 with RCT balls. (obviously, only 6 shots rotating club every 3 shots, also similar but not the same shafts) Feel: Honestly the best feeling of the bunch was TS3 & TE they were very close but both felt solid and soft. Multiple of each I barely felt the ball. 3rd place would go to the TS1 and PTM in 4th not sure why just slightly clickier to me. Comparing all to the MP33 was hard because well I could not find the middle today. from memory I would call the MP33 smoother when I find the center. I am a steep player so I usually need a little more sole which i think the TS3 would provide but I'm hitting off a mat so that is something ill have to test on grass. Aesthetics: This is personal preference obviously but I do really enjoy Maltby's recent styling. From overall winner is probably the TS1s but I'm a bit biased playing them for the last 2 years. They have the best blend of thin top line, offset, and minimal back graphics. I would put TS3 in second and TE & PTM wash at 3rd they each have their own benefits, I like the TE at address and PTM from behind. Performance: All of them performed well. Going by Numbers below I think TS3 performed the best with the Distance, Speed, Spin, and Apex I'm currently looking for. I cut across the ball and generate a lot of spin. the TE had the best dispersion but was high spinning and lower distance for a 6i. The PTM had great dispersion too but again the apex and spin let it down in my book. Overall: I feel like these are all good clubs I think the TS3 is a blend of the TE & PTM. The sole and shaping of the TE with the aesthetics and lofts of the PTM. I may need to consider transitioning over to TS3s or wait until the TS4s are out and find a beautiful combo set.
  15. When I tested them originally vs TS1 &TE I was least impressed with PTM. I think I have better dispersion and better feel from the TE & TS1. I went with TS1 just due to the lofts and height was too much for the TEs.
  16. Just got these glued up will try and find time tonight to hit them on my R10. Ill get some comparing the TS1 and get it posted as well. TS3 on right.

I dont have one but curious can these transfer owner ship? I know you need to register based on serial number.
  18. So I want to know some of what they are trying to change but not how they are changing it if that makes sense. Example i want them to identify and inform me my spin is too high they can solve that however they want. If they switch shafts, heads, loft, that's where they are the experts. But im just too damn curious not to know.
  19. Awesome to hear i was curious when this would get updated. I'm in the market and I remember getting Rogue ST Triple Diamond with Tensi White last time. Yesterday I got an actual fit for Paradym Triple Diamond HZRDUS Black so pretty close.
  20. I just placed an order a TS3 7i to compare with my TS1 gamers and the PTM & TE I have laying around. Also picked up a KE4 Max 4i to try and get a little more punch to blend the TS1 to KE4 FDI 2i. I'm looking forward to seeing how each club compares just hope the 8in of snow we just got melts before the clubs arrive.
  21. Appreciate the photos. Would you be able to measure the top line? The back and face look great but the topline is a touch thicker than I prefer... but i likely will throw one in my cart next time I place an order.
  22. In case anyone chomping at the bit for the TS-3s the site is now live https://www.golfworks.com/maltby-ts3-iron-head/p/ma0340/ Spec sheet is broken at the moment but looks like orders are being accepted.
  23. Couldn't agree more. I watch technical videos very closely. Good Good/ Rick Sheils is on while hit on my sim or want some background entertainment. I do like watching club reviews, but will never buy a driver because X youtuber promotes or hates it.
  24. Here I uploaded to my thingiverse page https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5622340/files Hope it works for you.
