Worked on the new arm structure the last few days. I feel like I am super flat when in reality it’s all in like with my shoulder tilt. I really have to overdo the feel. When I take full swings the hope is the arm structure comes down slightly and keeps me in good position. It feels a lot more rotational now

Btw, just wanted to state this has been the most helpful putting tip anyone gave me. I have a ton more confidence now.

Had a really great video lesson with Jayson today. Worked on arm structure as my arms were getting to vertical at the top (my takeaway was leading to that but that is the change we wanted in my takeaway, if that makes sense). I was then getting too vertical in the downswing, which was draining some of my energy into the ball. Was also leading to the duck hook miss I developed due to that move closing the face a ton. Worked on getting the arms lower and then rotating through. My swing felts flat like Kuchar but when looking at the tape my shoulder tilts were good and my lead arm was in line with my shoulder tilt. I was peppering a green complex about 140 out with 50% swings with my 7i. The plan is to drill this feel a while and then work on lateral shift and right side bend after. If he posts comparisons on twitter again today I will post them here.

my old wedges were 56*. I still suck out of bunkers. it is all about speed there and the proper ground contact. Sole width and bounce is more important from the bunker for me. Need something I can open the face up and allow me to swing fast.

Set PW 46* 125-130 Set GW 50* 110-115 (most my shots are half/ 3/4 swings with this club) 54* zipcore 70-80 yards. Hardly ever a full swing club. Only if I really need to send it 100 and land it soft, otherwise I just play a partial GW 58* zipcore 50 yards, again, this is hardly ever a full swing club.

I haven’t but did buy more z star diamond sleeves. I have about 18 xvs left so will use those up after the diamonds. Then Kirkland for the winter, although after the test results might have to look into the tour s for the cooler months.

Took the DI out for 18 today. Used it twice off the tee and a few times off turf. Was hooky off the tee (but most my clubs were today). Off the turf hit a stinger that set me up for birdie on a par 5. On another hole was trying to punch out but didn’t hit my tight window. Hit the following shot and got it to good wedge position. This club is gonna stay in the bag for sure. Gives me a low bullet option when in trouble and with a better total weight likely will make it more useful.

One of two birdies today. 300+ drive. Wedge to 16ft. Sink the putt.

Shot a 98 today. Felt better than that. Hit some real long putts. Better approach play. Driver wasn’t great but mostly in play. Too many three putts but made up for it with long makes. One hole took four shots out of a bunker. Was super steep and I just struggled. Most clubs hooky today. Need to do a better job mentally slowing down and thinking 50% swing.

Swing work in the park. Two good things today. No hosel rockets. Most balls were starting to the right with a baby draw. Hard work paying off. Have a live lesson Thursday morning with Jayson.

Another nine yesterday. Learning I really need to focus on hitting closer to the heel, otherwise I get toey and it is low hooks. Hot solidly from the turf today. I have an 18 with a buddy tomorrow. Will use it but not like I have for testing. Tomorrow I am trying to play my best golf. When planning the course there are three holes I for sure will use it off the tee. Let’s just hope I have the confidence to use it. This club is lovely and most these issues are on me and not the club itself for a DTC DI it holds up well. Still haven’t seen an updated price on their website. had a nice tee shot over water on a par three. Hit the back of the green but of course didn’t hold.

Took the rogue out again. Better but clearly shorter than Ventus. Same setup as TrackMan run. Compared to where I was on course with the Ventus I was ~10-15 yards shorter. Was hitting some nice draws but were short. Then on 18 really went after a couple (hit a few balls). Slice, hook. Swapped in Ventus lofted up +2 Straight, hook, baby draw. Then hit one more with Rogue lofted up 1. Straight but short of Ventus. Then on the range I checked face strike. Ventus was so much better. Rogue White ventus black

@chiscapyday and @RickyBobby_PR. Here are my trackman numbers with my two shafts. The rogue is a mix of lofts (9* and 11*) whereas ventus black was +2 (11*) and I had the raw data on my app. No shot order was in it so I assumed the ones right after my 7w was ventus and then the last 10 or so was the Rogue White. This could all change when (or if) the guy sends me a trackman report and I can actually see what shot number was what. I do know I only hit 6 with the ventus and the rest with the rogue. This dispersion surprises me as I remember the ventus not having a lot of control and only a couple Rogues going rogue
