Had some weights from Billy bobs delivered today for my Driver (adding 4g to toe in hopes to try and tame my hook, move CG slightly and help with feel), 4w (adding 4g to try to get feel better) and UW (adding 6g to try and get better feel). Coming soon will be some Rooster Rain gloves (Thanks @GolfSpy_APH for the sales pitch) and a range rooster that I need to replace as speed training and range work finally wore a hole into it.

If you saw my How'd you play post from today, you likely know what I worked on today. During the Forum call worked on my putting on my thick rug just working on start line and straight putts. Went really well and I know that likely isn't the issue with my putting woes. My coach wants me to send some video so hopefully I can take some before my Saturday round

minus a bad putting day, I can see the fruits of my hard work coming together. This is my SG for the year based off a 10 handicap (Mind you I usually post my SG comparisons to 20 handicaps).Now, lets see how October holds (today's nine is the only entry there) and what I can retain once the offseason starts. Very happy were my game is trending

oh, that I won't disagree. My SG avg for the year putting is -1.92. That is about where I would have been had I made the 4' putt and 2 of those 3 12' putts.

its close, I added up the putts I mentioned and then removed the extra negative stroked gained and it comes out to at -5 I would have gotten back at least. Also yes, I didn't do myself any favors and I can't say I would make those 12' putts. The 4' i missed for par killed me, was a -1.10 SG hit.

ya, although i had moments where my duck hook driver came back out. I should have easily had 3 more pars (missed 4', lipped out 12', then left two more 12' short).

Had a hell of a nine this morning. 2/3 of my game was on fire. The putter, not so much.

Thanks for sharing. Two things I notice. Two totally different shaft profiles between the ping and the TSR. That will contribute to how you deliver the head for both. If you could I would try to test a similar profile in the ping to the TSR, a tour black 2.0 or something. Like Chris said, your launch seems all over the place. Could be the range balls. Would like to see on course or indoor data with non range balls. For me, I would personally optimize the most out of the ping as you are toughest with it. Play with loft, shaft profile and weighting. May even want to try a new ball like left dash to increase your peak height and lower spin.

More swing work feels the last few days. Sometimes I catch my hands on the takeaway coming away from my body too much. Really focusing on honing that in. Swing feeling more fluid. Plan to video a lesson submission next week hopefully weather permitting.

yes they will for sure although I don’t see it on their site. They at least did for the test. Their price is now $119 so a pretty good deal if the shaft works for you.

Interesting. You can always tinker. Grip down and check contact. Once you find a good spot, add lead tape until it feels good. I found for me 44.5” is great (although I am battling hooks now with my swing work) but contact is more centered. Let me know if you want advice on that.

What length do you play driver at? You may need to optimize that to get the best face contact. Then play for a roughly 60 yard dispersion off the tee. Good luck on your journey

Second this. Foot spray is your friend. my question, do you try to hit driver at different speeds? Might be time to just go all out with it and learn to swing fast more consistently. Scott Fawcett does this and says it’s the only block practice he does as it’s the only time on the course you can have everything setup the way you want.

Caley if you like a lighter shaft or sub70 I f you want something more custom. The 01x is very forgiving

You could do the mini route. That is what Fawcett does. You could go Driver set as a fade. 11.5 mini lofted up to promote a draw. Then a 7w or 5w and then a utility?

Price drops on Golf Partner got me really close to pulling the trigger on a g425 max driver

Good morning all! Started the day with a 15 minute standing meditation. Reading Breathe Golf by Jane Storey and really trying to hone in my game and life in general. Highly recommend that book.

Even though I like my pxgs I would love to game that combo at some point.
