This is my personal opinion and others may disagree.  The NX is super close to being a Ventus without being a Ventus.  There's a reason why Ventus dominates on Tour and among many players...it's that good.

I really love the Ventus in my 3 wood and it's not harsh, the NX is just smoother.

Given the choice to hit reset, I'd select the NX again because it gives me tight dispersion with better feel.

Thank you @bens197 this was the insight I was looking for.  Considering I'm not on Tour well looks like the NX will be just fine...

Hello - Has anyone been playing this driver?  My Qi10(Std) just came in. Was playing the Stealth OG but never really got along.  Went in wanting to buy the TSR2,(hzrdus red) but the numbers don't lie.  Qi (Ventus TR blue) was 8-9 yards longer and much tighter dispersion.  And as for Callaway havent been a fan since the 1st gen Rogue.

Cant wait to hear what others have to say...

Oh I left out that one driver was 18 yards longer with the Qi over the TSR2.  But I considered that an anomaly.  The key point with the driver was how tight the disbursement was over the TSR2.  TSR2 was good, but the Qi(std) was outstanding.  And this was my second test with these two...Hope this helps!

  4. Hello - So many out there its hard to pick one.  Also some brands overlap in this category.

Callaway Paradym, for the distance is at the top, followed by TM 790's and then ZX5 MK2's for the looks, IMHO.  Tough call!

Read the list below of balls!  The tour and tour X are included.  The 566V is ionomer covered ant they don’t test those.

Hello I didnt see a list and they requested we share our thoughts.  Also no need for the !...Dont need an attitude.

Guess I will just leave this forum.

  6. Yes I did.  Also had minor surgery to clean it up as it wasnt getting better.

Now I do alot of stretching before hitting any balls be it on the range or to play.  Also I will not hit on mats no matter how soft they may seem or claim its still a mat on a floor. Will only practice on a grass range.  Its sucks getting old so much more maintenance!

Oh and graphite shafts make a world of difference as well as the grips.  Avon makes a great shock absorbing grip.

You can also find stretches on-line for these as well as from your Ortho's rehab center.  Hope this helps!

  7. You may wish to look at the Q Star Tour.  Its said to be a closer match to the AVX but will give you more iron spin.

The Z Star will spin more than both the AVX and QST.  Also the QST is about $13-$15 less per dozen and when Srixon issue the BOGOs its a great deal.

    Good luck and congrats!
