RookieBlue7
Me, personally, I'm not that huge of a fan of Pappy. It's good, but the high secondary market prices are inflated because of the limited supply. It's kind of like other things, and for a comparison I'll reference a beer. Hop Slam. It's a very solid IPA. But they only release it once a year in select places and the people buy it and resell it because people will pay it. Jefferson's, Black Maple Hill, Michter's and Elijah Craig are every bit as good as Pappy, and you don't have to buy it from hoarders illegally. That said, I do LOVE Drew Estate's Acid cigars. silver & black
Pappy is the most overrated bourbon on the market. The 15 is better than the 23 IMO. It's impossible to get and if you pay what the secondary market (flippers) is charging, you have more money than sense. Not only that, it isn't Stitzel Weller juice anymore. It's a Buffalo Trace product now. It's still a damn fine bourbon... it just isn't worth the price. Link to comment

Badfish
Liga Privada no.9 is one of my favs, but my wallet prefers Undercrown. While the Acid line is popular I vomit a little in my mouth just thinking about them. To me they taste of incense and chemicals. I also agree with spongy5 in regards to the ky fire cured. If Jonathan Drew was looking to capture a campfire in a cigar he succeeded. I recently purchased a Drew Estates sampler so that I could try Undercrown shade, Herrera Esteli, and Norteno. I hope to discover another favorite in one of these as Drew Estates is one of my favorite cigar brands.
