Andrew Bush Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 like to know the price tag on this, when the groove rule change this what everyone was saying that the ball would change to help out more spina nd what wilson has done here it looks like is to have a lower compression ball to cover more surface area on the clubface makes sense to me as long as they hold up cover wise and on the green to!!!! I like the Zip too though on days when I don't deserve at $4 ball... AndrewG Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 I love their DX2 Soft balls - stupidly cheap, but a solid performer. Competes with the Srixon Soft Feel I think. The thing that struck me about the DX2 and the DX3 is that the dimples are shallow, with a sharp edge, not 'scoops' like on all other balls. I think this again is to get more ball onto the face when it compresses. I've just picked up the DX3's, as the FG Tours were out of stock.
