MagnoliaGolf
Hi All! Currently, I have the 52, 56, and 60 degree wedge set from Bombtech. I luckily bought them when they were $99 for the set (they're now $147 !) They work pretty well, but I'm looking into possibly getting a higher quality lob wedge. It's the club I find myself using the most. Anyone use Grenades and find improvements when switching to higher quality wedges? I'm looking at buying the Cleveland RTX-3 60 degree while they're at $99 per club. Thanks in advance for input! Redskev
Not me personally, but my buddy bought the same deal. I hit them a couple of times and they seemed very hard and not super responsive compared to higher quality wedges. Not bad clubs, but think you can do could improve by switching. McaseyM
I game the Cleveland CBX wedges and they are sweet, i'm considering getting a 45 (46 bend 1 strong) in place of the PW. I have them in 50, 55 (56 bent 1 strong) and 60. I know they retail for 139, but i've seen them on eBay from distributors for $119. Lots of people love the Hogans as well and they are clearing out their TK wedges for $75 each through benhogan.com and $65 through ben hogan's eBay account. wearcoffee
I was going to recommend the TK wedges too. Love mine, and I don't think I would even use anything else right now. eBay discount today, 20% off using code pickdadsgift, puts the Hogans at $52 eachSent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

If I didn't have the CBX wedges I do know, I would definitely give the Hogans a go, especially for $52 each Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy What's in my bag: Driver : F9 10.5, Fujikura Speeder 757 TR Fairway F9 15.5° Aldila Rogue White 80X Hybrid: King F7 18° KBS Tour PROTO Hybrid 95 S+ Irons: z585 4i - 6i, z785 7i-PW, Nippon Modus 120X Wedges: CBX 50.11, 55.11, 60.10 TT DG S400 Black Putter: Honey Badger 34" Ball: Q-Star Tour

Thanks for the info on the CBX wedges. I am looking at those for my next purchase. I have a SM5 54 currently, but love the idea of game improvement wedges.
