cannon cocker
I have a rattle ( something loose ) in the shafts of two irons of my 1964 Wilson Staff irons. I took the grips off, but could not get anything to fall out. I thought I read that Wilson use to put wooden dowels in some of their shafts, and if so I'm wondering if these could have come loose. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this rattle? I'm trying to avoid taking the head off if possible. Thanks, Bruce
Shankster
Most likely that wooden dowel. I remember my old set doing the same. Not quite as old, but 70's I'm guessing maybe 80's.
