gdiddy
I need some help. I got a swing weight scale today and below is what I got as measurements. My guess is this is not helping my game. They are built 1/2" long, no I don't have any Xrta tape under the grips, and no lead tape on the heads. With the swing weights be different and the overall weight not really consistent . Or maybe its much ado about nothing. Thank you for your tome and opinion.Woods Ping G410 Irons I210 Wedges Glide 3.0 eye Ping SW Spec Actual Total weight in grams D D 1 D6 315 5W D1 D2 335 3H D1 D2.5 365 4i D2 D5 405 5i D2 D3.5 410 6i D2 D5 416 7i D2 D4.5 424 8i D2 D5 431 9i D2.5 D6 440 Pw D3 D6 447 U D3 D7 450 55* D3 D6 465 60* D4 D8
cnosil
By adding the 1/2", you added 3 SW points so that is how you got to where you are. Hard to say what the SW should be for any person, but your iron/wedge weights are pretty high. You can put heavier grips on to drop the SW if you are having trouble swinging them. Can't judge anything with total weight as components are all different weights; but they should increase in total wieght as you go through the set. The wedges are a bit heavy not d5/6 is about atandard across the board for wedges. My vokeys sm7 were d5 and stayed when I put recoils in them. cnosil 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

Switching shafts probably wouldn't change the SW, length or grip changes are the biggest influences.
