Copy Cats???

Is it me or does it look like Taylormade stole or copied tech from the Ping G400 series???? When looking at the PING from bottom it looks like SIM just over exaggerated what PING came up with!!! Just something I noticed and wondered if anyone else noticed it too.

Spoiler alert:  Golf companies copy each other all of the time.

Though, the example you posted isn't even really relevant.  Take a look at the Taylormade M2 driver from 2016.  That came out before the Ping G400 line

then check out the Taylormade M6 driver

Or the Cobra F9 driver

 

How about all of the companies that copy the Tayormade Spider now?

Or the ping Anser

 

Ping "copied" the Taylormade P790s with the i500s

 

Again - this isn't anything earth shattering and this isn't unique to the golf industry

Exactly and one could use cobra or even go back to the Nike vapor flex and compare with the sim and come up with a similar comparison.

All these companies get equipment and reverse engineer it and see what they can use.

I get it happens all he time. allot of those example are lost on me as I've just gotten back into the game. This was just one I came across while browsing at the local golf shop and it cought my eye.
