Stronger Drivers Heads?

Background

In the past 3 years I've cracked four (yes, four) G400 LST heads.  I'm a range rat.  I'm pretty careful about cleaning any sand off of range balls and my mishits aren't way out on the perimeter.  The cracks have happened in different locations.  0-2 handicap throughout the year, averaging low teens clubhead speed on Trackman.  Range balls are Wilson Premium balls (not limited flight).  Not the best, but definitely not the worst.  Pretty soft by range ball standards.

Questions

- Is this a known issue with G400 heads?

- Are there any heads that are known to be stronger?  I would've thought that forged heads are stronger, but the G400 is supposed to have the same "T9S+" forged face, same as the 410 and 425, so maybe that won't make a difference.

- Kind of a side question...I absolutely love the G400 LST, but didn't want to keep spending $300 to replace them every few months so I went cheaper and got a G LST.  It performs okay but sounds and feels pretty bad compared to the 400 LST.  I know it's subjective, but can anyone suggest any driver heads with a similar feel/sound to the 400 LST?  I already know I don't like the muted/dead feel of the Cobra Radspeed, anything TM, and anything Callaway.

Thanks!

Based on you buying them every few months I’m guessing you are buying used. If so there’s not way to say the head hasn’t had some issue before you bought it.

There are other who have cracked Ping head but the same goes for Callaway, titleist, tm and others.

The g410 lst is a good driver. Ping drivers have a unique sound compared to other drivers, if you want similar sound then look at pxg
