Stability Tour Shaft in Jailbird 380

Recommended Posts

I have the 39” Jailbird 380 and love it so far. I have an extra Stability Tour shaft sitting around and I’m debating swapping out the steel shaft for it. I’ve used the stability shafts on other putters and like them a lot. The 17” putter grip and length would all stay the same for counter balancing. Are there any downsides to this that I should be aware of? Would you recommend doing this?

Potential downside is that you don't like the putter with the stability shaft.   I wouldn't recommend for or against;  the stability shaft will result in a different feel which you indicated you like.  The different shaft won't result in a putter that won't work anymore;  you still have to putt with the appropriate touch, stroke, and aim skills.
