  1. Since I already had ESPN+, it also has the added benefit of being free. All of the ESPN+ feeds are in Hulu as well (which is how we watch live TV).
  2. Having commuted up and down I-95 from Broward County to the University of Miami for multiple years, I find that much of I-40 in NC west of Raleigh isn't bad at all (and has fun curvy bits approaching Asheville ).
  3. As a warning, I received this exact sketchy message in a PM regarding my search for a used Rapsodo MLM. I also received a chat message from another brand new member that said "Hey buddy, I recently got some items from Carlos and he is willing to sell some Used Rapsodo MLM. You can email at [email protected] if he still has it. Thanks"
  4. Yeah, its very hard not to root for him to succeed!
  5. I am currently in the market for a driver. I purchased my 2014 Big Bertha (std length R-flex) used with no knowledge. I am currently demoing a Sub 70 849D with an Evenflow Riptide 60g stiff shaft. TRUEGolfFit recommeneded the Stealth with an Aldila Ascent Red Stiff shaft. I have a driver fitting tomorrow, I'll b sure to include the Stealth...
  6. Your photo is much better than mine. I was on the mat on the other side and the photographer did not get the logo flowers...he zoomed in too much.
  7. You are correct. The other option is to use the complimentary shopping bag check service next to the shop. The line to drop off wasn't bad and the pick up took a minute max.
  8. Don't forget about Miami next month. Miami GP and Doral sounds like a good paring
  9. Yeah, his two DNFs have hurt my squad greatly. Still going to pick him from Tier 1 in the next one! My son is considering the University of Texas for college. If he goes, it will be an excuse to head down there for the race weekend at the Circuit of the Americas
  10. Sub 70 has some really nice wedges.
  11. When I first picked up a golf club in the late 90s I bought a Jack Nicklaus box set from Costco. I played those for a year or two and then bought a Ram box set from TGW. As I started to play more in the early to mid 2000s, I started researching clubs a little and buying leftovers on clearance from 1-3 years earlier. This is how I ended up with the V Steels and my Callaway X-20 irons (both had good reviews and were on sale). I always bought standard length regular flex. When I quit my engineering job to go to law school in 2006, I didn't really play or buy much for a decade or so. In 2015 or 2016, I bought the 2014 Big Bertha from the Callaway Pre-owned site. It wasn't until I joined this site last year that I started to learn a bit more and take into account my swing speed, etc. The "virtual" fitting I did with Jason Hiland at Sub 70 for my irons was the first time I tried to buy something fit to me. The 699/699 Pro combo with the KBS 120 stiff shafts +1/4" length are a bit of a revelation for me in that I am more consistent (on my good to decent swings...working on consistency). I since bought the Sub70 50* wedge with the same shaft plus 1/4". I am now looking at my long clubs. I may stay with the V Steels, but will likely at least change the shafts to something that fits me better than the stock R-flex TM shaft. I have a Driver fitting scheduled for Saturday...we'll see what the Easter Bunny may have in store.
  12. As the title suggests, I am looking to buy a used Rapsodo MLM in good working condition for my backyard practice setup. Thanks! *Closing as I purchased a used Rapsodo.
  13. Now that I have a net and a decent mat, I am looking at getting a personal launch monitor for additional feedback during back yard practice sessions. Currently considering the Rapsodo MLM and PRGR.
  14. You could go Vineyard Vines if you want something conservative:
  15. Having been in Blacksburg for two Thursday night Miami-VT games and still getting chills when I think back to the Enter Sandman experience, I completely support your choice! I was just thinking about also trying to hit Clemson as I haven't been in 10 years or more. I also agree re Adidas. Most of the Miami gear is meh. I do have one Polo that is ok that I would wear and a hat. Socks might have to be the green Masters socks . As a Duke law school grad, I support the return to the Swoosh, but would prefer to stop short of having Jordan all over my clothes...
  16. I think you should go ahead and trademark "Scheffy Slam" now (before its too late)!
  17. While I did see Tiger on 1, 7 (within a few feet as I was on the rope as he went from 7 to 8), 11, and 12 on Thursday, that is not me. I like the way you think with respect to getting in a round before the VT game covered in green and orange from head to toe. Blacksburg isn't too far from me, so I usually drive up and back with a group the same day as opposed to staying over. But in this case, I might have to make an exception! Are you planning to go to Death Valley in November?
  18. https://thegolferspick.com/products/teestrike-champ-golf-mat-4x5 Arrived today. Feels very nice. And it will accept a normal tee (see below). Can't wait to set up net and try it out.
  19. Amazing! Love how excited Rory was when Colin drained his.
  20. I just came on to post that "Friday is Scottie's Moving Day". You beat me to the punch...
  21. Experience of a lifetime! Given my good fortune, the least I could do was try to find the cover for you and pass it along.
  22. I had an amazing time yesterday. Saw play from 1, 7, 9, 11/12 (grandstands), 15/16 (grandstands), 17 and 18 (among others). Watching Kisner hit his long chip at 11 was awesome. Leishman on in 2 at 15 was very cool as well. Saw Tiger's second shot on 1, finish 7, and his finish on 11 and 12. Got into the 15/16 Grandstands in a great vantage point and watched all of those fantastic afternoon groups come through. Our one and only photo from the Founders Circle below. Another cool thing: a car stopped right behind us as we were about to leave the Founder's Circle. The window rolled down and Gary Player asked to see a mom and a super cute baby who were in line with us and leaving after their photo at the same time. Mr. Player seemed very genuinely nice. It was a very cool experience.
  23. I am also sold on these for the price. Just wore out the heel in one as well after plenty of use.
