  1. I do the pimento cheese and beer and maybe some chicken salad. YUM
  2. Oh yes it has always been super fast at Augusta. Sometimes it's just too fast and the players really complain.
  3. No I do not own a launch monitor. I don't have the room for one inside. I'd love to have something that works on the range.
  4. Well they look good. I'm always interested in the feel on the greens.
  5. Yes ditto on the above posts. Let us all know about the feel on the greens and the driving distance please.
  6. I'm loving shorts weather here in Florida
  7. I'm inclined to use the few balls I find if they are better brands I like such as pro v, callaway, taylormade. I usually collect used balls and give them to the local charity thrift store. I think it's much better to get new balls to play better golf or more consistent golf.
  8. I'm always testing seb's (someone else's balls)found in the pond. I also find no difference plus they are nice and clean. Saves me some $$. Plus it's fun to me to hawk those balls and with my 15' retriever I get some others can't reach.
  9. Looks like I'm playing the 305yrd version. I'm hitting my PXG gen5 driver with a slight draw starting down the right edge of the fairway to about 110 yards out. Then I'm pulling my titelist 718 pitching wedge and going for the middle of the green. Then with some luck I'm able to 2 putt with my scotty and get out of there. Looks like a cool hole but difficult.
  10. That is very strange. I got some snell balls and they are all ok. I must say that the quality of the cover doesn't seem as good as some other brands.
  11. Yes, congratulations testers. I love my 718's and would like to hear about the T series.
  12. I've always admired the way Fred Couples swings so smooth. New tour players I've got to go with Rahm, Scotty, DJ and dechambeau.
  13. I have also just received the trial pack. I love the feel of the x. I'd say it's the longest ball I've played off the tee. The cover is soft and I've dinged up 2 balls in one round already.
  14. Of course walking is the best way to play. Getting some exercise and feeling like part of the course.
  15. I'd like to test a hybrid or two. I currently use a ts2 18degree instead of a 3 wood.
  16. Makes since to me. I for one can't afford the new prices but wait and they come down when the newer products come out. Maybe a trade up program would work for some.
  17. As we get older we need more protein in our diet. I've started having protein powder and workout everyday and keep my weight the same. I also find if I drink more alcohol my weight will increase. Of course the amount we eat makes a difference in how many calories our body's get and any excess will go to the fat cells for storage.
  18. I'm just into visual confirmation. If I hit the ball correctly it will go where I'm aiming. To me the alignment sticks and how I feel I'm swinging correctly or not gives me the info I need to try to make adjustments. The best thing to me to get correction of my swing is to go visit my local Golf instructor who can watch me and give me instance information as to what I need to do to correct my deficiencies.
  19. I find I play better when I get a good nights sleep. When the moon is full it wakes me up and then I can guarantee I will not have a good round. Also if I have to much coffee before a round it will effect me and my putting is off distance mark.
  20. It's not hard to forget you need to stay hydrated. Even in the winter you need to drink more fluids. I'm always drinking water and I'll start my round with a banana. If I need some energy before the back nine begins I find that a protein bar and water helps. During the summer its hard to keep up your energy level in Florida so a sports drink will help me.
