Because my bag is slowly being taken over by Ping, I'm curious which OEM everyone would choose and what about those clubs prompted the choice. 
I will take Ping as my answer, as their lineup top to bottom is fairly strong. My only hesitation might be relinquishing my Link.1 putter in favor of a PLD, but I think I would be happy with their woods, irons, and wedges.
What say y'all?

Connor's article raises an interesting question. Obviously, there are bargains to be had. Anyone with a Costco membership knows you can get outfitted for a round for $28 and throw in a vat of potato salad for good measure. But there is the other end of the spectrum, where a nice polo or q-zip will run you the rough equivalent of the entirety of my first paycheck working at McDonalds back in the early nineties. It's all relative, I suppose, but what say you?

Another great week and outstanding scores in every flight! I noticed many of the leaders are starting to slip and allowing the standings to tighten (especially myself)! Need to get my back and game back in shape or flight 1 will run right over me!! Thank you again to Ben for all the work!!!

Good morning,
I went to Golf Galaxy over the weekend and purchased a L.A.B. Mezz 1 putter. Wow! I was very impressed with my putting on Sunday. I am not a good putter, but this thing goes exactly where you hit it!

Not surprised in the least to wake up and see these results this am in my email.

Interesting topic. 
Of the 3 that are closest, none of them seem likely. If I had to throw a futures bet on it, I would guess Scheffler or Schauffele, but one look at some of the luminaries of the game that couldn’t get it done leaves me skeptical it’ll happen again any time soon. That only 5 golfers have ever done it is staggering, but the list of names goes a long way to explaining what it takes to accomplish this rare feat.

Quick story that slipped my mind.. Went to a new to me course last week.. Golf pro said he was the only fitter for Sub 70 in the state of Louisiana.. After I mentioned a few buddies told me about the Sub70 gear, he let me know MyGolfSpy thought highly of them and let me know how well received MGS reputation is in the golf world! I just shook my head and agreed.. After the round he came out to chat with us and spotted my MGS bag tag.. He told me to thank y'all for the work we put in and I got a free Gatorade lol

I played today in Quebec at my friend’s club. It had been raining a lot the past couple of days and it rained the last 4 holes. I can’t blame that they use meters or that the air up in Canada is different from New Jersey, but my distances with everything were off. My Canadian friends also noticed the difference- who knows? The AD VR performed well- I put a lot of balls in play, either on the fairway or the first cut. The stats are off with fairways hit, because of the last few holes as it started to rain and I’m not a “mudder” - although my muddah was mudder and my fatha was a betta mudder than my mutha… 

My longest drives were all 250 yards on the dot- most were 220-235. Some of the 235-240 drives were all carry, so I shouldn’t be too alarmed by the drop off in distance. This one I felt like I hit well and it was 239, but I saw the ball mark about 2 inches behind where it ended up:

 
I hit the 9 iron very well and it travelled a good 10-12 yards less than usual. This was the story all day- I clubbed up with every iron. The ball flight (still playing the G430 10k at +1 or 11.5*) was beautiful- just no roll with the soggy conditions. I lost a 4 drives to the right as my OTT swing reared its ugly head- I wish I could blame the rain for that, but that was all me. I’ll be playing my home course this week to see if the distance thing was just an anomaly or a Canadian conspiracy. (You got to keep your eye on those Canadians- with all their manners!) I’ll also get on a lunch monitor this week to get some numbers. Stay tuned.
