Want to thank @00sportsman for the nice gift he sent me. He told me that a percentage of the proceeds go to help the animals injured due to the bush fires back home.
I also went to the range today. I cut 1" off the driver yesterday and today it was a thing of beauty. Long and straight with range rocks. I also changed the position of my @GolfSub70 3 wood to upright and it was also a beautiful thing to watch, off the tee and off the deck. My Tour Edge CBX119 was great as well. I don't really want to talk about the irons, seems we're having a disagreement at the moment.
That was a tough loss to watch as a 49ers fan. In my amateur and Monday morning quarterback opinion, they should have just kept the ball on the ground, that's where they do damage. Jimmy needs to do a lot of work on his passing.
@Kor.A.Door honestly mate, I struggle too, but not the why. I've always been a big eater and a bit of a lazy bastard so it's the motivation I have a problem with. For me, I just push myself to get up earlier in the morning and hit the treadmill, do my inversion table, plank and watch what I'm shovelling into my face during the week. I really don't want to but I know that if I don't do something I'm going to balloon in weight.
It's a big mental thing that only you can figure out but it may help to talk to someone. I'm here to encourage and support anyone who is struggling with their journey.
Got an email this morning from Shot Scope about the new V3. Looks really good with 5 colour options and a colour touch screen. It's a bit smaller than the V2 and can use the current sensors but comes with new ones as well. They aren't offering a trade-in deal but the price for current users is an absolute steal. So, I'm laying down my next week and waiting until the May release.
I'm thinking about either a custom driver or putter headcover. I already have my Manly Sea Eagles driver cover (see below), so I'm leaning more towards a putter cover.
Today my son, Connor, is a teenager. Sometimes I didn't think he'd make it because I'd kill him, but so far so good! He's a pretty good kid but a typical tweenager...doesn't listen, at all. But, he's a good student, so he has that going for him.
Finally hit the 3 wood the other day. Aside from my swing being off from not touching a club for 3 or so months, it's solid. Off the deck, when I actually put a decent swing on it, I was getting 205+ and off the tee it's somewhere past 220.
Just made my annual donation. If you really like the site and you don't donate you might want to think about throwing a few bucks at MGS to help them do what they do.
