Yeah their Junior Academy is very cost effective (like $40 for 8 weeks), probably 30-40 coaches each week just to help kids learn basic fundamentals. It’s a full 18hole course and each hole has a Junior tee that is 80-200 yards out from the green so they can learn to play a round of golf and not have as much pressure. Then a couple years back the course finally completed their junior course which is just a three hole track that kids can just keep doing laps on all day if they want for just $5, they just know how to foster the love of the game there.

Went golfing with a friend of mine a couple weeks back and we got paired with a couple random guys that we got paired with months ago. It’s hilarious and like catching up with an old friend you haven’t seen in ages. Little things like this make me happy.

Morning spies! Just pulled 13 at the ol paper plant and my feet are feeling every minute.. my main scramble partner challenged me for bragging rights this Wednesday at 8am.. Winner gets a case of the new Volvik Vista balls and doesn't have to buy beer for a month! He has a longer drive and a nice putting game but I got the fairways and approach and decent with a putter.. Gonna be interesting!

Good morning spies and happy Sunday! A lot of packing today as my wife and I prepare to close on our first home tomorrow afternoon. An exciting, yet busy time for us. This week is going to be very busy with moving, work, and a youth football camp. I'm hopeful I can get out and play golf at least a few times this week, starting with tomorrow morning. We will see! 

Good morning Spies! No golf today, we are heading out on the water. My oldest wants to play tennis this morning so we are gonna hit the tennis court before we launch the boat. Played a par 3 course yesterday. It is always a good reminder that I need to get better with the short irons! Have a great day!

Well, 8 minutes after morning here on the west coast.  Just got home from a 7am round with my wife.  We played with an old guy (good stick) and his grandson (first year on a course).  We have played with them before, but last time they played a scramble; today the boy played his own ball.  Much improved, but still had some major issues.
My back still hurts on some swings; other swings are OK.  I managed a 42/39 = 81… birdied #1 and #16, but had two doubles.  We play with another couple tomorrow, so will see how it goes.
