Good morning all and happy Thursday! Last baseball game of the season this year with my oldest and hoping the weather will hold out to let us get it in. Had to reschedule a round of golf yesterday with two of my former basketball players and an assistant coach from my high school hoops coaching days due to rain. One of the guys works at Wild Rock in the Dells this summer, so free rounds on arguably the nicest course within a 45 minute drive of home 🤩
Hoping to get rescheduled for Monday or Wednesday this coming week!
Not sure what the weekend will bring yet, may go to my in-laws cabin, may not. If we don’t, I’ll be getting a round in for sure as the member/guest tournament at our club is quickly approaching and I need to keep working on my consistency shot to shot. Also have a bathroom repainting project, but thankfully it’s the smallest one in the house so should be pretty easy. It’ll honestly take longer to prep than paint 😂.

Good Thursday morning MGS Nation! League play last night and I cannot complain. Except for my now apparently and customary round ending blow up hole (lost my only ball of the round and had to take a penalty) the round was a decent one, one of my best ever! Shotgun start, we started on 4, so the snowman was my big blowup and once again, I see that I'm having a good round and mess up the ending! NO three putts, so the Mamba is finding his stride! 15 putts for 9 holes. It was one of those rounds where my partner kept commenting "Man, you're on tonight..." and everything just felt good for the most part. 

Nothing crazy on the agenda but some more practice and trying to build on the good habits! Have 18 set up for Saturday and Sunday, so golf is definitely planned for the weekend!

Good morning spies! A rainy start to the day with thunderstorms in the area this morning. We needed rain, so I can't complain. Golf tournament tomorrow, so I've got to start getting ready for that! I'm ready to rock!

I had forgotten that we are playing golf today with friends who used to live here.  Over the years we have played every weekend, and I have missed them since they moved to Denver area.  It will be great to see them again… teeing off in 2 hours!

Good morning, golfers!  My partner and I had another successful night in league.  We played a couple of young guns who could hit it a mile, but the old geezers came out victorious in the end, with a score of 18 to 7.

Love the Northstars Logo, Classic. I just heard that the Wild are bringing the old colors back. Pretty cool.  Welcome to the pit of all things holy. You will find everything golf related and then some here. 

@jlofgren22 welcome to the forum. As you'll discover lots of different directions can be taken here in the forums. Great goal to lower handicap but don't get wrapped up too much on a number. Just shoot for the fun of it. Practice is the key. Don't need to go the range or the course . Practice with foam balls in backyards for near by parks where ever you can. Even if it's only 10-20 swings.  Soon enough the kids might want to play along as well. Then it really becomes fun. Enjoy and welcome again to the forums.

Welcome to the forum! Glad to hear you’re getting back into golf. There so much to soak up here, and it’s hard to stay away for too long. I’m pretty new to the forum too, but I like checking out what other people are playing and reading through the reviews. There’s also the regional threads where you can talk to people more so from your area. Sometimes they do meet-ups and play together.

I grabbed a dozen Vice Tour balls recently, too, but haven't hit them yet. Need to use up a few old Nike Mojo balls I still have from my days playing in 2011 lol! Excited to give the Vice Tour balls a try as I've heard good things about the Vice line in general.

First timer here, just joined the forum as I dive deeper into the game. Have owned clubs for the past 13 years and played sparingly for some of that time, then just stopped playing all together about 7 years ago. Decided to get back into it now as a way to have some "me" time away from two young toddlers and my lovely wife, and have played weekly since the start of this season and am loving it! Even upgraded my bag a little from my original clubs, which certainly adds to the fun.

Excited to learn more about everything and see what this forum has to offer. Appreciate any tips on best threads to follow here or any tips in general.
