5w (Callaway UW 19º) for me as i've always struggled with any hybrid even after lessons. I can move my hands down on the UW a bit to get the ball out of most any rough. If I cant then i doubt a hybrid would help. Also looking to add a 7w to possibly replace the 4i.

I may have mentioned this elsewhere: the perfect compromise (in my opinion) is the Callaway Apex UW (Utility Wood). It is more of a cross between a fairway wood and a hybrid than a pure fairway wood, and for me it offers the best of both club types. Another club that fits this description is Callaway’s Paradym X hybrid with an 18* loft. It is bigger (and slightly longer) than a standard hybrid, and is similar — even slightly larger— in size to the Apex UW.

Interesting... I recently bought my 10-year-old a new set that included a utility wood and he hits it great., far better than the fairway and hybrid he had in his previous set.  I currently flip-flop between an 18* 5W and an 18* 3H depending on the course, so it sounds like trying a UW might be a good idea for me... 

I am sure that you could easily do the same with the Apex UWs.

By the way, a “best of both worlds” option just might be the Callaway Apex UW (Utility Wood).

I put a flat o-ring between the cap and bottle. No leaks! The squirter button some times sticks, but a slight rotation frees it up quickly.
 
As with any of the bottle brush types, the brush heads are removable, and occasionally will unclipped from the nozzle 

I've been using the Amazon version with water container and works perfect for me other than the fact that it leaks.
 

Same grip and pressure throughout bag. Switched to MCC Plus4 grips a few years ago and it helped me not grip so hard which in turn freed up my swing.

something i've found in my own game is that I needed to just play and get outta my own head. stop thinking so much over the ball. enjoy it!

@ShortGameSavesLies not sure what else is in your bag or the distances between the clubs. But I’d rather add a another wedge to get the right gapping than bending the PW.

You could add a 46* wedge and split the difference. 

Been playing Vice Pro Plus for a few years, so will stay there as they play great for me. Plus, I just won 6dz in their Fathers Day contest.

These irons are aesthetically appealing to me, and I hope they perform as well as they look!  

I played a lot of golf as a single when I was still working and had to sneak a round in whenever I could.
Essentially, it was practice for work league twilight golf.
Now I'm part of a gaggle of senior weekday golfers, and golf has become primarily social.
I'd be playing right now if it weren't raining.
I haven't really gotten to shoot a score or compete with anyone lately because the guys are really into scrambles and seeing what kind of score we can achieve as a team.  I think that it's largely influenced by YouTube golf to be honest,
but I really do enjoy it.
 
 
 
 
 

Outside our league, I generally play as a single.  So I expect to get paired up during busy times, which is fine.  And if the course is open, always happy to go out as a single.  
But going out for a twilight as many holes as I can play before it's dark as a single is the best.  

I can see how some folks don’t want you in their time slot and others probably don’t care. Perhaps the starter or someone else can help guide you as to which groups are more amenable to having people join them.
