Wednesday Men's league is 9 holes. Played well. Ended up with a 40 that should have been a 37. Had a blow up par 3 that ended that dream. Finally getting this broomstick to work right for me. No three puts and my best drive to date 😁

playing the club championship this weekend. Itll be my first ever 2 day tournament. This gives me hope of placing okay. I know I wont win but I really want to play a 2 day as i havent done that yet

I use the PuttOut Pressure Putt just sitting on the carpet in our bonus room.  Can get a pretty decent distance this way.

It's worth getting a legit membership to your state or area association. I'm in the Utah Golf Association and the membership is only 50 but I get coupons to local courses and shops that easily make up for it and then the member play days and tournaments are absolutely worth it. In the next two months I'm playing 3 different country clubs I would never have a shot at including the only Arnold player signature course in utah. And it's only 100 bucks with the cart. 
Join your area association. Worth it. 

If you don't care to watch it he got about the same spin numbers with wedge and driver but irons were 500 rpms lower in the yellow.

I went down a rabbit hole trying value brand 3 and 4 piece balls. I ready every line and poured over the data tables in the golf ball test of 2023... I found it to be a waste of time. The test and some of the posts they made on Instagram with the videos showed thr maxfli tour x to be significantly better. We'll I've finally lost or given away enough of them that I can go back to the kirkland. I've found my ideal compression is around the 90 mark. 
And on my simulator the kirland gen 2 vs gen 3 shows the gen 3 is the better ball. About 200 rpms less with driver and woods than the gen 2. The wedges I'm still getting upper 9k which is what the gen 2 does for me.  For the life of me I can't figure out why the ball test rated them so much worse than thr gen 2. I even weighted a bunch of them and they were all really close. 
The yellow ones spin even less than the whites FYI. 

It's all about not leaving puts short. 
I'll put a tee or pick a hole on the putting green. Take the flag and lay it about 3 feet behind the hole. 
Then I take 3 paces away. Tee in ground.
Another 3 another tee
Another 3 Another tee.
Now the routine. 
Between the cup and the tee I put about 4 or 5 balls evenly spaced out. Usually start at what I would call inside the leather on the shaft or gimme range. 
The goal isn't to hole it but that's fine if you do. Hit it past the cup but before the flag stick. If you leave it short restart. If you get it. Back up about 2 feet hit another.  If it's short reset to the first spot. You do this till you can get to the tee. Once you get to a tee that's your new rest spot. So basically you lag put till you get to ten feet. Then from ten to twenty and then twenty to thirty. 
Hopefully that makes sense. It's absolutely been helping. 

What shaft do you have in the warbirds? I know they are a box set so it might not be labeled as a weight or brand. It might explain the higher launch too

Honestly I could probably game any of the big mfg full bags sets as long as it wasn't an entry level set. Anything I can choose shafts in can be made to work. 

Haha I  thought the same thing. I actually ordered the vice irons. Half the price of the pxg gen 7 and 60 return policy I had to try them. It recommended the 60 gram regular flex for me. I said naw and went 95 grain stiff shaft. I swing 85 on the 7 and 8 iron and driver is 103to108 usually.  Regular light weight shafts have zero dispersion control for me and whip around like a wet noodle. 
Pxg charges 25 for a fitting. If nothing else go find what shaft and length is ideal for you before listening to these online tools. They suck.

I want a new putting trainer that's longer than the 7ft mat I have currently.  Need something closer to 20.

Yeah excellent point I forgot to mention. Just like lofts. Lie changes inside the brand and across brands. It's almost annoying that there isn't any consistency to judge on.

Here is a static starter guide for wrist to floor vs height.  One of the keys about getting fitted tho is this isn't dynamic.  The chart says I should be plus 0.5 and up 1 degree. Reality for me was I'm best at a stock 37in for a 7 iron but -0.5 lie. Or 62.5 on a 7iron. Realistically I can swing any stock length shaft. If you do some of the weird questionnaire fittings out there you're gonna end up goofy. The vice questionnaire wanted me 1in long and up 1.5 on lie. There is no substitute for a good fitting. 

Everyone is different.  You might be a much more upright posture than us which would change things too. Don't go off my numbers I'm far from a pro fitter. 

See I'm 6ft3 and have a 36in wrist to floor. And I fit normal clubs. My buddy is 6ft4 normal clubs as his wrist to floor is 35.5 ish. Running a plus 2 we wouldn't be able to hit anything.  Super weird to me that with longer arms you got such a longer club

What is your wrist to floor length? 

I have the yellows. Which are currently unavailable to order anymore. They are not the same as the gen 3. They are made in China vs Vietnam.  My hits show They spin a lot less than the white v3. 
 
No idea if they will bring back the yellows. My local store never had them in I had to order them offline and right after I did when they were onsale they went out of stock.

I hadn't heard of that one. Digging in to the capabilities I like it. Amazing the data you can get from thr accelerometers in that apple watch.  If I had one I'd give it a ride but I'm android.  
One thing I don't like. Having to select a club when hitting. I had that on golfpad with my galaxy watch and I'd always forget or let it auto log the wrong club. Made the data useless. I really enjoy sensors in the grips that trigger the watch with the correct club.
