    First off, I'm doing this post on my own. It's not sponsored by the boss or anything. No guarantee that anything posted in here will happen Now that that's out of the way... If you follow @mygolfspy on twitter or instagram you may have seen a few of these pop up. Some crazy older equipment possibly in for testing! Like this... And maybe these? This got me thinking, what's on your wish list to be put through it's paces? Older and crazy idea's are a ton of fun, but I'm interested in hearing about any and all submissions. What's on your list?

    It's 60 degrees warmer right now than it was 2 days ago. It's 34 outside right now.

    It doesn't take long for the roads to clear, the snow plows up here are very good. Plus we are all used to it, just drive a little slower and leave a little more space ahead of you. 12" of snow? -30 temps? Doesn't really stop anything. That said we did do most of our shopping online this year, not because of weather though. It's just much easier than hauling a 3yr and 5yr old around to stores.

    Thinking about starting White Rabbit Project on Netflix or The Grand Tour on Amazon Video. I really liked Mythbusters and UK Top Gear so hoping these are good. Anybody seen them yet?

    I've always wondered on some, many have wondered what mine meant (hckymeyer) so here's the place to explain what your screen name means. My old screen name was hckymeyer. No crazy stories, I created it when I first got started on AOL instant messenger in college. It's just "Hockey" without any vowels and my last name. I've never had to change it because it's been available on every messenger, email, forum etc I've ever tried to use it on. So what's the story behind your screen name?

    Just won another set of C-Tapers in S+. Going to try them in the Hogan PTx's and see if I like them better. It's what I currently play in my Speedblades.

    I've been playing an Odyssey Works Tank #7 for the past 2 seasons and like it a lot, but I could use some help with distance control. The ER5 is as close spec wise as I could get to my current gamer.

    I've only watched the first episode and it was pretty much all setup for the season. Yes though, it does seem like it's just the movie drawn out over a whole season. I'm pretty OK with that concept though.

    Just watched the first episode of Shooter tonight on USA. Thought it was pretty great and the 2nd episode also aired tonight. Looks like it will be pretty good.

    Haven't bought much golf stuff lately. I stocked up on some Kentwool socks during their Oct sale. Then just went to Disney with the family and found a sweet Darth Vader pin. Black with a raised pewter image of Darth Vader's face. Then it says #1 Dad in the Galaxy. I couldn't resist. I have zero desire for a pin, but I snapped the pins off the back and ground them flat with a dremel. Now I have a sweet new ball marker.

    Handicap posting season is over in MN. Finished out the year as a 2.9. My goal was to get to a 3 this year so mission accomplished!

    I'm all for whatever helps you shoot lower scores. If that's the same length wedges then go for it! At the end of the day length of a club is just another parameter of fitting and gapping. Especially in the short end of the bag, do whatever it takes to get the gaps and yardages that will allow you to shoot the lowest score.

    3.3 this revision, down from a 3.7. Once again this is an all time low for me so I'm pretty happy. Bad news is there is only one more revision before we are locked out for the winter in MN. Which means I'm going to have to play some good golf right away next year or I'm going to get my clock cleaned for a month or so.

    Back down to 3.7 which ties my all time low again. Played 36 today and shot 79, 77 so I'm currently trending 3.3 but there is plenty of time to ruin that before the 15th.

    Got in 14 holes before we were rained out today. Shot 1 under on the front with a 3 putt bogey on 9. I was 1 over through 14 which was just enough holes to have to handicap it in and post a 75 for the day. Good news is that the handicap is trending back down, bad news that that we have a handicap event coming up and it's after the next revision so it looks like I'm giving some strokes back to the field.

    Shot the best round I've ever shot today. Even par 72. 2 birdies and 2 bogeys. All I can think about is the 3 footer I missed on 10 for birdie, the 6 footer I missed on 12 for birdie, and the 2.5 footer (yes that's 2 and a half feet) that I missed on 13 for birdie. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the score, but it could have been something special.
