  1. I'd go this route as well. Plus 2 flat from one OEM might not be the same as 2 flat from another. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. 4-6" of snow tonight, another 6-8" on Sat and more possible Wed. There goes an early opener this year :(

with the rain we are getting in indiana...it might take a month to dry up :(

    2. did you see that?

      did you see that?

that just means the greens will hold!!

  3. I think you misheard her and should reconsider. What she actually said was "I think you should book the full PXG fitting experience for you and the forum director at that golf spy site you spend so much time on"
  4. New Jack Ryan is on Amazon Video. If you already subscribe to Prime you have it. Not sure of the release date yet though, it just says coming in 2018. I'm excited for it though!

    P2 Grips

I've had my eye on them for a while, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Not sure which model to get first. Any idea which most closely resembles a Superstroke Pistol 1.0? 2nd is a small thing, but enough to keep me from pulling the trigger. The non-counterbalance grips aren't available in blue. Or at least I haven't seen them on their website yet.
  6. Got to play yesterday for the first time in over a month. Our season ended early and my home course closed in Oct this year, earliest in the 6 years I've been here. Had a couple random courses open up this weekend due to temps in the 40's so got to sneak out. The course was pretty short (6100yds from the tips) and the greens had been top dressed so tons of sand everywhere but I managed to shot a 75 somehow so it was a great way to end the season. I've got one more round next week on the Cleveland trip and then it'll all be indoor until the spring.
  7. Not sure, but stick your phone on speaker near you and listen in!
  8. Info has been forwarded. Just shoot Bones a PM about getting the donor badge on your profile.
  9. I've been through enough fittings to know it's a decent shaft for me, but I also have a VA Raijin that I'm going to put in it.
  10. Went in to PGA SS to demo the Cleveland CBX irons for the upcoming trip. Came home with an Epic SubZero with a Tour AD-DI.
  11. I had pocket gophers and used one of these to take care of the problem. https://www.fleetfarm.com/detail/-gopher-mole-trap/0000000005897?gclid=CjwKCAjw7frPBRBVEiwAuDf_LWRXSQ8RVrE4gNM5xBZnxDV6kk9DPVmZ8liJWmAOAU1yURFNks_ZihoCaPUQAvD_BwE
  12. The biggest thing I haven't been able to fix so far is the lack of a simulator.
  13. This was my progression of shaving from last year after beard season ended. This year I'm shaving a stache for my Magnum PI costume tomorrow. Then shave it off Sunday and I doubt I'll shave again until the snow melts Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. Picked up a 2016 M2 3w HL head. Now need to find a shaft to put in it.
  15. Awesome, we have a standing rule with the regulars at my course. If you find someone's ball and give it back they owe you a beverage of your choosing. I'm on the wrong side of that one far too often.
  16. I've only taken 2 swings with it in the SLDR head and neither went better than my normal setup (SLDR + Whiteboard) I didn't expect much though, went out to #11 late in the evening and hit 4 balls with no warm up. 2 with my gamer and then swapped shafts and hit 2 with the raijin. It was one of those shafts I've been waiting to find and it was a good deal so I bought it knowing I'd be waiting to find a head to put it in. I'm keeping my eye out for the right deal on an Epic Sub Zero head for now.
  17. I've played 2 rounds with it so far and putting has been great for me. I'm a streaky putter normally, one day make everything, next day 3 jack from 15' all over the place. I have a tendency to struggle with distance control. I'm coming from an Evnroll ER5 and I don't think I ever got used to the face. I'm really liking the face/insert of the 7s and my distance control has been fantastic. I'm sure some of this is the honeymoon period, but so far this putter is amazing for me.
  18. Picked up a shaft I've been eyeing since spring. I was fit in to this with an epic subzero but never ended up buying. Still on the look out for a head for it. Then I also picked up a Red 7s. Swapped out the shaft for a black one and out on a Pistol 1.0 grip. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. When you say nearly all your stuff does that mean it doesn't count all the upcoming trips to 2nd Swing so you can stock up on clubs? Also great story! Somehow when you're playing with someone breaking a milestone it doesn't seem to matter what's going on with your own game. It's just fun to watch and be around and you get caught up in the excitement.
  20. I haven't seen 48" USPS triangle boxes before. I've only seen the 37" for a long time. As someone else mentioned though, if you need longer you can cut the ends off two boxes and then shove one inside the other and tape the crap out of it. Make sure to use lots of packing material though because it can create a weaker spot. I've seen it used successfully though. As for other places to get boxes it's just the same places other people have mentioned. Big box stores like golf galaxy or Dicks sometimes have them. Check with local pro shops (you can call first and ask) but it depends a lot on if they have gotten clubs recently. You could also see if anyone has large appliance boxes laying around. Then cut out the large flat side and fold it to make your own box. And of course my favorite way to buy clubs and reuse the box. I always save the boxes when I get shipments so I have a pile in the basement to use whenever I sell clubs. As a last resort you could always buy boxes. Amazon has them, or uline.com is a good place too. The only bad part is that most places sell them in bundles of 15 or 25 so while it's only $1 per box it's still at least $25 even if you only need one.
  21. Cobra has been underrated for a while now, agree with all the comments on them. I can't believe nobody has said Wilson Staff yet though. Their woods are definitely coming around and their irons have been sleeper hits for a few years now.
  22. I could buy exactly what I have for less than that so I'd just build the bag I have now. I could probably afford the actual bag too and still have money left over for some cocktails.
  23. Correct me if my thinking is backwards. Wouldn't you want something that doesn't come back to a specific balance point? i.e. you want a ball that is balanced in any direction so it wouldn't come back to the same point each time? So a ball that comes back to the same exact line every time is actually worse than one that could be orientated in any direction?
