  1. I have worn True Linkswear nearly exclusively except one pair of Ecco’s for the past 7 years and1 pair of spiked Eccos I ordered by accident before I exchanged for the other Ecco’s. I haven’t really had an issue wearing out the sole of the shoe. More wearing the shoes out as I walk 99.5% of the time and put a ton of miles on my shoes. The spiked Ecco’s immediately lost spikes on the first round, were replaced and repeated. They were quickly exchanged for the spikeless and i never had another problem. Well, they hurt my feet, but that was not the sole, but the design. I switched back to True Linkswesr Originals and you would have to kill me to get them off my feet.
  2. Go ahead and order a test pack. They are great balls. I have played nothing but since 2015.
  3. I feel like this company is on its last leg. Anyone else[emoji17]?
  4. Miura 8 for my FunBag Exotics 13* xcg6 3 wood. Wilson 2i shafted to 7i length. 1970’s Accushnet 4i, Scratch 6i, Miura 202 8i, Scratch 50* and 58* wedges. And I always play my Evnroll ER2 no matter what bag I have.
  5. Check out BB&F for your ferrule needs.
  6. I can’t speak to the shoe hurting my feet but I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and have never experienced True’s hurting my feet. I have had 5 different styles of Trues and if they are nothing else they were always comfortable. I still keep a pair of the Oxfords to wear casually as they look great and are still comfortable. They lost their ability to keep my feet dry ( was a problem with the model and they replaced them twice for free) and I can’t really golf in them any longer. The OG’s are so good I don’t think anything other then the new brown color way or the Major’s could pry them off my feet. I am a Nurse, a former Marine and a walking golfer. I have very high standards for my shoes.
  7. They also get free shoes and paid for wearing them. 1 pair a week or a day if they wish. I don’t think it is a good comparison
  8. I felt the same way for a while. Had some Trues that were terrible. But I got a pair of the new OG’s in green. They are the bomb. True really has retooled their design and manufacturing to a very high standard. I cannot day enough about how happy I am with my new True’s. Give them a try you will not be dissatisfied. And if you are they have a money back guarantee.
  9. True has a 30 day guarantee you should look at. Their shoes are incredibly comfortable to walk in. As well they perform like a great golf shoe should. Give em a try.
  10. No love for the Sun Mountain Speed carts. It is a great simple cart. It doesn’t fold small but it fit in my civic easily. Now it is in the #golfmobile , My 01 4 door blazer. Everything fits in there. It is a great cart, reliable, sturdy, well designed and crafted. No lose.
  11. Bought an AR-1 6 iron for a new fun shirt bag. Cobbled Fun Bags https://forum.mygolfspy.com/applications/tapatalk/index.php?/topic/29220-Cobbled-Fun-Bags
  12. They look great. In my mind I was going to see an all black bag. All black. That would be a fun bag to put together.
  13. Good for Bob. Sounds like they are making attempts at being competitive and not just an ego driven brand. It can only do good thing for equipment if companies are putting out better equipment and not just another badged-on carbon fiber piece to make sales. I wonder if the irons, that I know little about, because I was just assuming “ego” brand and not competitive tech. I wonder if they will perform or make strides in tech, feel, performance and not be just an ultra expensive brand.
  14. Extreme walking I was looking at maps around my town and I am 4.4 miles from my home course. With greenways, back trails and the like I am wondering if I can walk there, play and walk back. It would be about 15 miles all said and done. But I think it is doable. Of course my wife go me the Tom Coyne book “A Course Called Ireland” for Christmas and it has me thinking....
  15. I pushed a cart through BPB. It was tough but goddamnit it was AWESOME!
  16. I’m a nurse. I am on my feet a lot. But I walk. I find it relaxing or exercise. Or sometimes both. I started fast the other day and blew through the round in 2:53. My course is a difficult walk and very hilly. There is no break from the hills, especially when you leave the 13th green. I walked 48 (my age) at Sweetens Cove about a month ago. The day before I slogged 27 in rain gear. Enjoy the Walk. The walk makes my game better
  17. I agree. I have have mine for two years nd I can’t imagine switching. Not only do I get a lot of “oh’s and ash’s” or “I love your putter”but it is the best damn putter I have touched. I’m not an exceptional putter if the ball but I am convinced this helps me and I sink more putts because of it. Added bonus, when I visited MGS they gave me a super pimp putter cover for it.
  18. My wife and a couple of friends found this as well. He has read it and I think he understands. Thank you for your thoughts.
  19. I am sorry. I can imagine this will eat at you and be in the front of your mind all the time. One day at a time, like everything else.
  20. I agree. I’m an ICU nurse and see what happens and deal with trying to keep people alive long enough so they can recover. I may have him come visit the Unit for an eye opener. He’s taking defensive driving soon and will lose his license for probably 6 months, which he deserves but is a long time and a stiff /fair penalty. He will go through the ringer for sure. An awakening shall occur
  21. Losing license. Don’t know yet. Court in February. More than likely for 6 months or maybe longer. He will definitely be paying on this for a while.
  22. Very sorry. My thoughts to you and your family
  23. I really like my GG. But I am thinking of resetting to zero with a new acct. want to see different data. My clubs and some shafts have changed. I haven’t, but that is a separate issue entirely
