    I have not played them but they are on my very short list for my next irons. I’m probably either going cheap with Takomo or expensive with PXG Gen5 Xtreme Dark. The P790’s currently in the bag have a fairly wide front to back dispersion for me. For example I usually hit my 7-iron 160ish give or take a couple yards and I managed to nuke one the other day 30 yards over the par 3 and ob.

    Can’t comment on the 0211’s but I’ll give another option. Takomo Iron 101. You can get 4-PW heads only for $300 plus $30 shipping to the US. That’s sub $50 a head.

    I played the gen4 last year for a short stint but the AV on the crown got me. It was good but not good enough to overcome the crown. Really tempted by the Gen5 though.

    This was a great follow guys. I’m hoping next year I can plan the family vacation to Vermont/NH(wife wants to go for some reason) around the same time as the outing and make a slight detour for a couple days lol.

    I know I would probably get murdered if another iron set showed up at my door but I’m really digging the looks of the Takomo 101T irons. $480 shipped to me for heads only seems like a steal. But then I think to myself that Edel’s Swing Match System Irons seem like a cool ideal. Doing a fitting to have the weights matchup to my swing intrigues me a lot. Decisions Decisions

    I think the most important thing from those numbers is ball speed and spin difference. That shows strike location was probably completely different as @cnosil stated above. I have played a 45g regular flex Oban Devotion before as well as a 60g X stiff Aldila Rogue at 113mph swing speed. The key is to find a shaft that allows you to find the center of the face most often.

    Man, whenever I get frustrated with some of the “not so well thought out” or “argumentative” replies in other threads, I just cue this bad boy up and it always delivers. The amount of people that don’t even bother reading what they are replying to both amuses and disappoints me. Lol
