Still a ways off before off season but never too early to start prepping. Have some Tour Issue TT XP shafts coming that will probably go into the Miura’s immediately as I just don’t feel comfortable with the SteelFiber i80 R’s. Also have some Tour Velvet Align grips waiting to go on the xp’s. And finally an Accra RPG 352 LBP shaft coming as a test for the winter.

Very interested in your thoughts. The Red TR is in my radar even though the UB has been nothing short of amazing.

I’m not gonna speak for @RickyBobby_PR but I will answer the questions for myself. I actually post less recently than in the past and that is in no way caused by Handicap or even knowledge. Having the knowledge is great but it’s is made even better when you are able to share it with others. Threads asking for advice are some of my favorites and being able to help is extremely satisfying. However there have been a few members that get confrontational and even though they ask for others opinions, they really have no interest or intention to listen or accept them. One person can ruin it for everyone and after so long you just gotta step away. I mentioned this in another conversation but the testing is the biggest driving factor for getting new members and selecting new members for tests is almost always gonna be the best way to get those members invested here. It’s great that you are trying to come up with and ask about things to get others interested, odds are out of every 10 things you think of, 7 probably already exist on here if you search. Now I say that not to stop you by any means, just to give my thoughts from being here a few years.

I have played the Cleveland SOFT putters as well as cobra’s stingray and currently a SIK Jo. I can say without a doubt, I am a firm believer in SIK’s DLT face. The JO is the best putter I have ever owned and I usually went through a half dozen putters a year until I got it.

Picked up a 4-PW set of Accra Iseries Steel 105’s. The price was amazing which left me slightly surprised but I paid via Venmo goods and services so I should be covered.

The feel was very good. Provided a soft feel just don’t think the weight was right for me. I’m usually at 105 and these were 80

I hit them fairly decent but they are 80’s and that’s is just too light for me to be consistent.

There will be an update coming to my WITB thread soon but the G425 LST/UB 5S combo set to big minus is a show stopper for me. My misses are pushes or pulls but the ball just wants to go straight and far. The irons are a wait and see. The SteelFiber shaft in regular is definitely not for me so I’m gonna need to change them out. Also on a side note I found my ball for the foreseeable future. I picked up some Vice Pro Soft balls on Friday morning and they are excellent. I grabbed 2 dozen but may go online and do the 5 dozen deal for sub $30/doz.

Yeah I know the article you referenced mentioned this as a way to combat LIV, another article I read earlier today but can’t remember who it was from said this has been in the works for over a year.

Picked up a excellent condition set of Miura IC-601 4-PW irons with steel fiber shafts to play around with to end the year. First set of Miura’s so should be fun.
