  1. Thanks. Yeah this is a terrible time to be going from High School to college for sure. I’m just glad that they were able to work it out so they could experience walking across the stage to be handed their diploma. Then again that could just be something the parents look forward too! 2. Wife caught me reading reviews and checking out pictures of the PXG Lucky D putter all week. I told her that it will probably be my next putter purchase at some point down the road. Well this morning she told me to go ahead and buy one for Father’s Day. What a great weekend and I say that with the plan of no golfing! New putter, Proto X being delivered Monday, and my only daughter receiving her High School Diploma tomorrow. Best overall weekend of recent memory! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  4. That is definitely something I will have to look into to. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Congratulations on the ace Bucky! Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  6. Managed a nice 40/39 today with the driver not behaving on the front nine. I switched the Nemesys shaft out for the Oban Devotion on the back 9 and things started to turn around. I couldn’t buy a birdie today as I didn’t make any putts over 4 feet and I am starting to get frustrated. I know I just need to push through and keep working at it but the club ho in me is thinking about a new putter. Also the PXG Proto X is creeping back into my head! 7. Well folks I had every intention of playing my first iron only round this morning but when I got to the course and realized I had it all to myself I decided to use today as an opportunity to hit a bunch of different shots from different places. I still played one ball for a score (which was a nice 40/39 btw) but stopped at different locations and yardages throughout the course to try my hand at some shots I don’t normally play to see what happens. The T200’s performed well today with fades (everything seemed to fade today) and low punch shots. I do have to admit that normally my favorite club has always been the 8-iron with every set I have had but with the T200’s the 6-iron has taken that title. I don’t know if it is the length or weight but it seems to be the only iron that I can really feel the “loading zone” of the LZ shaft working for me. I just wish I could get that feeling with them all as it is amazing! I only had 1 shot today that the results surprises me with how it felt off the face. On the first par 5 of the day I smoked a driver(the only good one I hit with the Nemesys shaft) that left me 185 in. I pulled 7-iron knowing that I did not want to be long and the greens weren’t holding. I hit what I thought was a perfect shot and the ball just kept going. It landed on the back of the green and hopped all the way to the ditch 20 yards behind the green. I did manage to save par but it sure felt like a double bogey![emoji35] The more I play these the more they are growing on me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Alright folks the time is here for an epic battle! Is it Ping vs Titleist? Perhaps it is just @Berg Ryman vs @blackngold_blood. Only those that pick sides can truly say. For me it is just some old fashion fun and competition! As Berg stated in the Ping thread we have set the parameters of the competition. 2-18 holes rounds Best net score counts Irons only WITH putters (I did this last year without a putter using the back of a 4-iron and it wasn't easy) Deadline is July 12th giving us exactly 1 month to get our rounds in. Pick a member, pick an OEM, or just pick on the combatants. No matter what this should be fun. I'm not very familiar with Berg's golf game so I may have to do some research (or stalking) to do some trash talk but for now I will just end with this.
  9. Wait wait wait. I’M IN! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Another round in this morning and the T200's were the stars of the show. I had to do a lot of scrambling today with only hitting 1 fairway but the irons were up for the challenge. I was starting to wonder if the LZ shafts were the right choice after letting the True Temper website fitting make the final call between them and the AMT whites. Today showed me that the potential is real and my swing isn't near where it needs to be yet. If I can keep Grooving these irons I believe I can put up some seriously low rounds for me when the putter and driver start be behave again. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. 40/42 and played the last 4 holes of the day at even par. It was a day that the T200's showed up thankfully. 1 fairway hit and 1 putt over 6 foot made for a day of scrambling. The wind was blowing a consistent 15-20 with some big gusts made for a tricky day off the tee. I'm not sure I like the Nemesys shaft as it really changed the feel of the head even with adjusting the swing weight back to the same. After having a mostly one way miss to the left, my 2-way miss showed up today. The irons and wedges were on point today and really saved my round. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  12. This looks to be @GB13 versus the field! Something along the lines of this!
  13. Well folks, it looks like he has come to play! A little cartoon GIF for the well played comment young man!
  14. I gotta admit that I change clubs often being a club ho and have clubs coming a lot so I don’t get too excited. However when it is clubs coming to test for MGS the switch gets flipped. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. It was the longest wait of my life. I will say after this I won’t be taking off work to wait for a package again anytime soon. At least at work my mind would be preoccupied for a few minutes here and there. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. I have no horse in this race yet and probably won’t, but if it was a betting man, I would think @GB13 would be the odds on favorite. With the way the last CCC went it is clear he can trash talk and seems to thrive at messing with competitors. And yes before anyone says anything, I can’t believe I wrote that either. Good luck everyone.
  17. Got the Nemesys today and she sure is pretty! I really like the subtle faces in the black part of the shaft. Super cool look. I took some pics then went straight downstairs to the golf room to install the pxg adapter for my Gen2. I'm hoping to get in a few rounds this weekend for my t200 review so this should get some play. 18. That is what I tell my wife when a new shaft shows up! Lol Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. Yeah he is. I actually messaged him to see what his initial thoughts were. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. I definitely will post some pics. The few reviews out there are all positive and Matt from TXG absolutely smoked it when they reviewed it. I love the thought of adding mass to the head for more ball speed and forgiveness! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. I have a weakness for driver shafts and just purchased a VA Composites Nemesys 55 stiff shaft. The Devotion 45 has been slightly erratic and I’m thinking it may be due to it being a regular flex. Paid a little extra for 2-Day shipping so it should be here Thursday! 22. Yeah I'm hoping it was an anomaly. My swing has been wildly inconsistent lately but felt like I was starting to find my groove again. I got inside my own head when it happened and started thinking I had to be perfect with every shot and that is never a good thing for me! Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. Got another round in today and hit the ball as good and bad as I can! Lol The course I played again today is a 9-holer so I get to play each hole twice which is great for doing reviews. The 8th hole is a 167 yard par 3. I put what felt like identical swings on a 7-iron. One was hit dead center and flew high and straight pin high. The other was ever so slightly toey and ended up short of the green a massive 30 yards shorter. I couldn’t believe it was that much shorter with such a slight miss. I would have expected maybe 10-15 yards shorter but still on the front of the green. These t200’s continue to show a lot of potential for greatness when hit dead center for me. Miss hits(slight or massive) not so much. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
