I mean, you could have let me dream of a win for a couple more days.
But it is all good.

First time playing a bracket, I can't figure out, if the fact that @juspooleand I being the only ones who picked Baylor to win on the top 20 means that if they win, one of us could win.
Anyways, go Baylor.
Since @justpoole is 10 points ahead of you and within 160 points of the lead, they will win the contest if Baylor wins. You unfortunately cannot do any better than second since you will max out at 1350 and @justpoole will be at 1360 with a Baylor win.
On the other hand, if Gonzaga wins it will come down to the tie breaker between Air Jordan and ESPN Fan who will both end up at 1450. The winner will be determined based on the final score picked by each of them.
Hopefully that helps

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like it's down to five brackets with a chance to win.

great suggestions from everyone ... I'll have to start a list

Haven't used a 5 wood in years but might try one again and see how it fits my game ... right now Driver, 3-Wood, 3 and 4 Hybrids, 5-PW, and 3 more wedges to fill the bag

I'm thinking about buying the Pure gun, but is it necessary? I have a small 2 gal. compressor that supposedly can go up to 100 psi. I mostly use it to blow dust out of computers, fill tires, etc. I have an attachment but I don't think it's small enough to concentrate the air into the grip.

certainly not necessary ... all you need is a way to "inject" air into the butt end of the grip
it really depends on how much money you want to spend ... you can get a kit like the one in post #50 for ten dollars (maybe less) or spend the extra cash and get the Pure gun (which is certainly a convenient option)
I went the simple route 10 (or more) years ago and bought an air gun and nozzle that fits snugly into the end of grips from Harbor Freight (similar to what is shown in post #50). Since then I've re-gripped my clubs, my wife's clubs and my kids clubs (plus others) many, many times and haven't had any reason to upgrade.

now that golf is in full swing here, I'm running into more and more people commenting on how they are trying to get a hold of them (after they see I'm playing them.) I suspect they'll have no problem selling them ...

I just bought the limit of two boxes (4 dozen) just now so yes, they are available for the time being
-
i was able to buy 20 dozen last week at the store in clearwater florida. when we arrived, there were 16 boxes left at 630pm. we bought 10 (limited to 5 each). by the time we walked out there was only one box left
darn, I happened to be in the Tampa area at that time, wish I had thought to even look!

Seems to me Acushnet's big mistake was claiming Costco's "false advertising" as it relates to Kirkland Signature products. That goes after one of Costco's core marketing themes. If they had just claimed patent infringement, the reaction might have been a bit milder but who knows ...

I'm one of the lucky ones in that I have enough of the original K-Sigs to last about a year, depending on how bad I play this year
Fortunately I ordered some before all the "hype" and after playing them once, I ordered more (and managed to snag a few the final availability, as much of a fiasco that it was.)
Hopefully Costco returns with more, either the original or the speculated new Kirkland ball (and if new, it is a good replacement based on price/performance)

I just tried it on both Dick's and Golf Galaxy websites and it didn't work. Maybe they didn't extend the offer into today like I was expecting?
