mrmatt2you got a reaction from William P in Do you choke down on your clubs?
Oh certain shots I will choke down. Usually out of the woods when I am doing a punch shot. Now that I look on my round, I would say about half my shots are punch shots. LOL.
Sometimes will choke down on some wedge shots so I do not dig into deep. Maybe it is a mental thing about taking to big of a divot and I just choke down so I do not do it.

mrmatt2you got a reaction from xOldBenKenobiX in Testing for MGS to do
MGS: I would love to see a test, if you took a current Pro V1 and use the robot machine to hit a few drives with a current driver. Get the numbers for that. A 2nd test with same head, but try to get as close to same specs shaft, but have the shaft be a 42 or 43 inches instead of the 46. I would like to see what the drop in distance if there is anything. Just outside the box thinking. Instead of changing all these golf balls, maybe a simpler solution was limit driver shaft length.
Thanks!
Matt

Hit them well. Looking forward to the reviews.

I tee up everything. For irons and wedges, just enough to give a little gap between the ground. JUST in case I hit it a little thin.

mrmatt2you reacted to DBezeau in Where you should play from!
Play from where you can reach the green on par 3s, reach par 4s reasonably in two (not driver/ 3 wood) and par 5s with your third shot being inside 100 yards after 2 decent shots. That should be fun for you and not hold up place.

I would play the tees that gives you the best opportunity to make birdies. I go out looking to have fun, not get kicked in the groin over and over again to say I played X tees and did not enjoy it. I would rather be putting for birdies and pars than scrambling for bogeys and doubles.
