  1. Reminds me a bit of the mid mallet that I had from Ping. Was also a really good putter, but didn't feel as stable as the Tyne I had. It is nice they have both options now both with and without the hole. Not sure which one I like more.
  2. No no no, you can't blame me for your trade addiction! Interesting though because Cantlay is someone who I was targeting a lot in previous offers.
  3. I mean if you like I'll take it off your hands! Maybe a gift from someone?
  4. I love the Fetch... One day I will own one. It is such a awesome putter and love everything from the adjustability in length, to the grip, feel and shape.
  5. Good luck and hope the changes come somewhat natural. Looking forward to following along and seeing how the progress goes. Will you be still using superspeed? Would any of the sticks help assist with these changes?
  6. It isn't something I have purchased, but received 5 new Arccos sensors in the mail today! I had gone through and re-calibrated my sesnors (I normally do each season) and had 4 that for sure were not working and a 5th that was suspect. A quick email to Arccos and they sent me out 5 new ones to put in. Keeping in mind I bought these sensors close to 2 years ago and it was really no fuss whatsoever I am really impressed and just can't wait to get out and start recording some rounds.
  7. Now that I have my so called big 4 and what I'll label as hopeful 2 (Fitz/Fowler) I have opened up 2 spots for adding and dropping each week to hopefully put out a full team each week which. I don't think there will be much more trading on my end for the next little bit unless I am wowed by a offer. It has been a interesting season so far in how everyone has managed their teams. I was also looking to make sure we don't have too many overlapping players for any potential head to head matchups!
  8. And I just traded away my parting pieces... oh well in a few weeks time I'm sure I'll be looking to adjust some of the lineup.
  9. Week 13- Valspar Championship Recap Congrats to Sam Burns on a great win, although I didn't watch live I followed along and it seemed like a solid weekend overall. Not bad considering I recall him being traded for FABB earlier this season. That all being said we were back after a week break and what a week it was! Lots of movement (welp dropping 7 spots after going 1-9) and some more to look forward to in the coming weeks. High Scoring Team of the Week is- @STUDque with a whopping 250.2 points. His team was lead by winner Sam Burns, Cam Trignale, Abe Ancer and Jason Kokrank. Looks like you don't need DJ to show up. Another former mod @StrokerAcehad a solid week with 226.05. Our 10-0 teams of the week are- This has certainly had a impact at the top of the leaderboard leading into week 14. My reign atop the standings was short lived with @jddaigneault reclaiming top spot having last been there in Week 7 (The Players). However I would suspect to still see a lot of movement with 13 teams still within 1 week of top spot. Let the chaos continue! Just a quick recap with our new system compared to last year where we had machups against the field our top Fantasy Scoring points (Top 5). Keeping in mind this is just the points scored that counts not the entire team. Again even though not perfect with the matchups week to week I believe it is overall working. We do have some hard luck teams who have had a lot of good teams coring against them. They are the following. Our league median was a modest 125.85. This was the 4th lowest total of the season. All of this marks essentially what is our halfway point in the season. Therefore still lots of time to make up ground and find a way into the top 35 which is looking awfully interesting. Now onto the close matchups and who knows what effect this will have finishing up the final spots in the standings We have already announced our trades throughout the week when they happened so no big news there @blackngold_blood whats up with that!? Edit: Forgot to add this in, but our top waiverwire players from the week are as follows! Some great players available that scored big points last weekend, just to show that golf is forever unpredictable and there is always talent to be found. **Oosthuizen was dropped after event was over** And with that we wrap up another week of MGS Fantasy Golf. We are now onto the Wells Fargo Championship which should have a good field and hopefully a good weekend for the league. Thank you all for participating and hope we continue to a strong finish.
  10. Well if I get lucky this week I may walk away with 1 or 2 wins. Had BOTH my guys make the cut so that is promising however only fielding 2 guys is going to make for a rough week no matter. Was nice to have the bye week and give us a bit of a break, but ready for the full on part of the season to come where I should be able to consistently field 4+. Good luck to all those who have full squads into the weekend!
  11. Can I just say that I love that the i210 are still getting as much love as they are. Considering the irons are nearly 3 years old now and even the new i59 don't quite seem like a direct replacement it just goes to show how solid of a set of irons they are. The fact they will take that long to get is too bad, but still very impressive especially in todays market where there are often refresh or updates every season or second cycle.
  12. It is part of the reason why I would love to trade Fleetwood/Fowler and either Hatton or Fitz together for Thomas, DJ or the likes. Then be able to pick up 2-3 each week on the waiver wire and hope that I have atleast 1 of my other 5 in the field then I can at the very least have 4 each week. At the moment I have been lucky where my good weeks have been great and the weeks I have punted on I havent lost much ground. Maybe in the end this total depth will help me vs the short term gain?
  13. Which is completely understandable. I really like my squad overall, just wish they didn't take so many weeks off or at at least it seems that way. I have specific guys I'm targeting and 3 I'm not willing to move so it can make trades a bit difficult.
  14. I really want Smith. That's why, but since you too are also seemingly feeling left out I'll fire one your way to decline
  15. I sent one your way to help with those feelings
  16. Really hoping 1 of my 8 trade offers out there go through for this week. Or at least get a counter offer to work with. If not will only have 2 in the field this week, which could be worse I guess?
  17. Notes in the Trade Block are great to use. Nice when there is something there to help guide any potential trade or seeing a player is basically off limits for that certain team (thankfully there are 5 copies of players!)
  18. So not Fowler straight up? I know I tried for some 2 for 1, but was a little on the hopeful side of them going through. I want to believe Fowler can bounce back this season (he is PGA Championship eligible) so maybe he can be a dark horse, but hoping I can package Fowler, Fleetwood and maybe someone else and make a trade.
  19. Smith is the one guy I want! haha There were 4 guys out with Covid this week as well. Hatton being one of the and I think Danny Willet? Eitherway its the first time we have seen that for this season I believe.
  20. Really cool, thanks for the info. My interest is getting every more intrigued by what you guys are saying. Last question for now, but was which head you were planning on using a big factor as well? From TXG videos I have watched they talk a lot about head weight and droop and how that can have a impact on the shaft as well as impact location. Appreciate the answers and once again looking forward to the reviews.
  21. Thanks... That's very interesting they are relying more on feel and such. May say more about how so many love Nippon shafts in their irons. Myself included. Appreciate the answer and depth. I know I could look it up, but how wide is the range they have for their drivers? Did they say why one would benefit someone else over the other?
  22. Good start so far! Keep up the good work and keep the photos coming. Very interested in seeing how these play for you all. What was some of the things the rep asked when you were getting spec'd out for the shafts?
  23. I can imagine the traffic on cobras site getting a boost the last few days and would be lying if I said I haven't gone on and built a dream set top to bottom.
  24. As soon as all the restrictions lifts I'll be making my way up to visit for a weekend. Maybe you can send me some good courses to scout out and I can start making a plan for the trip?
  25. There are always those picks each year and you're exactly right Wolff could be a huge steal. Berger was a steal last season and so was Hatton. Big part of my success. I would put English, Fowler and even Rory as bounce back candidates.
